Like the first reviewer I got a letter in the mail with this phone number in large bold type along with the words VEHICLE PROTECTION NOTICE in bold large type and in small type the words Customer Account #i31464718. Also at the top are the words "Protection Notice for Vehicle Code: R1T2356841".  I have no idea what the customer account or vehicle code numbering stand for. The letter is sent by a Scott Moseley, Program Administrator, True Auto Protection. Finally, the letter says their e-mail address is  sales@trueautoprotection,com   My advice is to see how many pieces you can tear this unwanted SPAM into and put it in your nearest wastebasket.  I did.

I got the same letter as above, I purposly called the 877 397 1024 number just to hear the BS. I am sure they would give me. Before I called them I call the man who takes care of my car, A 2008 Hyundia with 42,000 miles. That's about 6,000 a year and it is check for the state every year and I have it service when it is due. mu service man Mike said it is a scam and my car certainly didn't need it. When I did call the number they wanted all kind of information which I wouldn't give to him. Being a lady alone, I have to check everything myself and google most things.

Also received a letter in the mail of a " VEHICLE PROTECTION  NOTICE " with instructions to ( immediately ) call #877-397-1024 , a customer account number was referenced as well ; ....... there are still some pretty good pesticides on the local market ... but THESE parasites are totally of a different nature . My relatives ( S/W ) said to chill until an actual attack ... and then they would most gladly assist me . For now , the shredder is my help.

Just received  a letter saying my vehicle protection  is about to expire.  Hmmm. I just bought  a vehicle. I am trashing  it. If this was true they would have had all my info on the vehicle. It didn't  even have any type vehicle on it. In the trash it goes with the rest of my unwanted scams.

If this lady you are referring to has a  covered item listed in her policy that needs to be repaired, the repair shop would get paid from the company she had the policy with and she should not have to pay anything, except if there is a deductible.  So, the shop where she regularly goes to is not "scamming" her to make unnecessary repairs that would affect her purse. The policies i have had in the past with different companies have a list of what is covered under their warranty. I have found, however that most of the items i have had repaired were not covered, but considered to be "maintenance items". I have never had an engine or transmission (which these are usually covered) go out.

Same here with me. Actually called the scammers! Lol. As soon as I said I didn't own a car, the guy said I called 2 months ago and already cancelled. Then he proceeded to give me attitude and insisted I did call and hurried me off the phone. Funny as I only opened the letter today. Guess scammers don't have time for people who are on to them!
