This is Midland Credit - collection call.

Guess they figure if you don't answer from one number that they use to call 5-6x a day, maybe you will answer this one lol & they don't leave messages either go figure

I got calls from a different 877 # that is, apparently, Midland credit.  I blocked that number and then they called from 877-411-5551.  I don't owe anyone any money, all my bills are paid timely, but apparently my number was re-issued to me when I had to change my number two years ago.  I keep telling the different debt collectors that I am NOT Carolina Hererra, but they are relentless.

Same thing! They keep asking me if I am Maria Martinez!

Never leaves a message. ...tired of this.

That's how you can tell it isn't a legit company if it was they would send you something in the mail and/or they would leave a message

They called this morning from this number this time.  877-411-5551 I  did answer, and they asked for someone I do not know, told them this was a personal cell phone and not to call again. She said whatever and hung up, Blocked them. I do not owe anyone any money.

THEY HAVE CALLED 3 TIMES THIS HOUR.  THE HARASSMENT IS UNREAL. . I FINALLY ANSWERED AND TOLD THEM I DID NOT KNOW THE PERSON THEY WERE LOOKING FOR ANS ASK POLITELY FOR THEM TO REMOVE MY NUMBER AND STOP CALLING AND HARASSING ME. THE PERSON ON THE OTHER END LAUGHED AND HUNG UP.

THEY WANT TO TALK TO WENDY.... KEEP ON CALLING SO I GAVE THEM WENDY'S NUMBER  (724) 444-4220)  ... SO THEY COULD CALL THE RESTAURANT "WENDY'S"!  THEY CALLED BACK NOT HAPPY !!

Someone needs to stop these telemarketer type calls! I'm sick of them. I have no debt, I don't need a loan,
I don't want anything you are selling! I just want you off my phone!!!!! What ever happened to the Do Not Call
list? I wish these weren't tapes.......I would love to give a human a piece of my mind!

debt collector that is a big scammer don't owe them money but they call anyway sick of the calls & the low life attitude they have they can go to **ell . :-)

To file complaints for FDCPA/TCPA Violations, file complaints with your states attorney general, and theirs. Also with the FTC, CFB and the BBB.

Tell them because of all of the debt collector calls, you've hired a LAWYER WHO SPECIALIZES IN SKIP TRACING..... If they would just give your their info, your lawyer will contact them for more info.

If they haven't hung up, tell them wrong number but if they do make the mistake of calling you, your lawyer will find them and call them anyway.

Called me yesterday 4 times, once at 8:14 AM, twice in a row at 1:08 PM, and once at 6:12 PM! And  called me today at  8:44 AM today and it needs to stop! It comes up as unavailable on my caller id, and they never leave a message. It's ridiculous, if they were legit you think they would leave a message!

I, too, have been receiving 2-3 calls per day from this entity.  I did some research this morning, and found the following information:

I called the number, spoke with an agent, and told him that the number they have been calling is my fax number, and it is a MagicJack number, too!  How they even got it is beyond my comprehension.  He asked for the number, and said he would take it off their calling list.  

All that being said, it seemed pretty easy to get rid of them, IF it works!  If not, I will forward the information above to our States Attorney here in Florida, or whatever government agency handles this kind of thing.  THAT should do it!

It appears that you may be the new owner of a number that use to belong to someone they are looking for to recover a debt.  This company is real and ruthless.  They believe everyone is lying to them so they keep calling.  I added the number to my contacts and named it "Do Not Answer".  They call and I don't pick up.  You can block them but they have a long list of numbers to use and will just use another one.
