Called looking for Amanda Doodie, or something like that.  It was difficult to tell because of the guy's Indian accent).  I told him my name and he said he would make a note of it so I wouldn't get any more calls from them.  We'll see!

these people called on a Sunday - TWICE. you know it's a sketchy company when they call 10 times and never leave a voicemail. -______-

I think the caller from this number is a debt collector.  They ask for Shelby.  I do not know anyone named Shelby.  I get a call from this number 3 times a day and 7 days per week.  Every time that I answer, I speak to a different person.  Some of the calls sound like they originate from an India call center.

This number starts calling before 7:00 am & does not give up! This has got to stop! On a do not call list!

I was getting upwards of 4 calls a day, every day, from another Midland Credit number - 877-237-0512. I put that one on my blocked list, so they started calling on this one. The other number I answered once or twice, but it stuck me into a hold queue, and I'm not stupid enough to hang around waiting for someone to pick up when they're the ones that called me.

But I digress. I was answered by a real human being when I picked up this call, and they were looking for someone I'd never heard of. I civilly told them there is "no one here by that name" and they apologized for bothering me and took my number off their list. It's been more than 2 weeks since I've heard from them via any of their numbers.

It seems like if you respond angrily or give them any reason to suspect you know who they are and therefore might be hiding something/someone, they'll continue to call back. If you're civil and honest, they seem to realize they won't get anywhere by continuing to call. Knock on wood...watch, they'll start calling me again, now.

This is another one of those debt collectors that buy up old credit card debt for pennies on the dollars and then try for intimidate the person that owes the money into paying.  They don't believe you when you say it is not you.  I just got a new phone number and it must have belonged to someone that owed lots of credit cards.  I told them I had just got the number and they told me I was a liar that I knew that I owed money and was trying to get out of it.  Consequently I have blocked the number and don't answer any numbers I don't know.  If it is importaant they will leave a message.  If not all it does is waste their time.  

If you don't have anything outstanding, it may be that someone used your telephone number.

Call received a bit ago. Didn't answer called back. Midland Debt Collection. Never heard of them. Was gonna prank them but didn't.

I get hang-up calls from this number on a daily basis. I believe they're looking for a co-worker that hasn't worked here (A cardiology practice) since June '13. There is no reasoning with them.

Terribly annoying!  They call from different telephone numbers hoping you will pick-up.  Please STOP...this is harassment!  Whatever happened to no call list.  I don't have ANY debts...STOP CALLING PLEASE!

The ID comes up as unknown but a reverse number check reveals it to be a Midland Credit. Don't know them, never did business with them and have no outstanding debt so, why are they calling and disturbing my sound tests?

They left no message. If they call again I will try to answer and inform them that the number they are calling is no longer a private line but a business line for Serious Sound Studio and Productions.

From what I have read about this company so far it seems many complain that the company does not stop calling even though they are told the party they are trying to reach no longer has the number dialed. If Midland starts that I will file suit. Last collector who called me repeatedly for someone not at the number I had ended up having to pay me $1000 and the attorneys almost $15,000 so bring it on Midland.

Some wet brain just called,talking out of the wrong side of his neck about owing monies to some entity.i was raised to have "telephone manners",so i engaged this person in conversation for a while.if you just waste their time,they get really p#ssed off.

This is what happened to me more than once in the past. I have been issued numbers by the local phone company and started getting calls for people I never heard of.
It is obvious that they were calling an outdated number and these telemaggoters were not about to listen because they believe their information is correct.
The upside is that one of these numbers now belongs to a local movie theater in town. So if they are continuing to call, all they are going to get is movie listings.

Called my private cell hanging up when i answer... so i called back from a private line while on break at work...said they were looking for Tamika something.. not my name.. so called them back to demand they have the private cell taken off their list or i would report them and i knew how.. they were polite and advised me it would take 24 hours but after that they would not call again.

I do not know this person or company..

Tired of all these unwanted calls by company's i don't know or the so call bill that may have been acquired in my name if it was so it would show on my credit report. Scams are out here everywhere. Tired of the lazy people who exploit on others for their way of getting an income.
