This company American Research Khemical also called me.They offer a free trial offer on their degreaser.Do not accept anything from them no matter what. They are a scam plain and simple,if you already accepted the offer send it right back.The customer service is very rude and unprofessional.Like some of these other people I was given a shirt and told a story, also the same as some of these other people. I wish I would have seen post before I accepted the offer.

I got a call from this company a loud hispanic girl named Yasmin, very rude she hadnt realized she had already spoke to me once before there sales pitch is scripted and a few times i heard someone in the back ground talking through her. Dont buy anything from them they are liars!

You should cancel as soon as possible this company is a scam !!!! The sales girls are scripted and have someone speaking through them!!! I had different girls from the same company asking me my job position and then they tell you your the guy with all the headaches. They are liars do not accept anything from them they will send you an invoice!

When we received their cleaning products and they were not as advertised I called to get an RMA to send it back.  I still have their material and I offered to send it back to the address that it was shipped from (on UPS documentation).  We were also advised that and that she wouldn't give me an RMA because we had the product for too long.  When you look up their shipping address on Google Earth, it is an empty lot in Ft. Lauderdale.  Beware.

Just filed complaint with the BBB (like many others have in recent months)!

I had a Lauren from this company cal me and try to get my home address.  She was also very flirtatious, giving me her bra size and the like.  I told her at least 5 times I did not want to product and we do not do verbal POs.

They called and ccalled and the girl acted like my best friend and flirted like crazy with me. Sent soap and other things I didn't agree to costing some $1300 total... Which ended up costing me my job.

EVERYONE PLEASE READ THIS: i worked for this company! Here's how the scam really works. First they have us  call companys and say the following: hi can i please have the name of he maintenance manager I can send my new brochure to please OR speak to please? Ok great is there also a plant or operations manager as well, ok thanks bye. NOW if during that call the person asks who we are, we say Dow chemicals and then hang up. THEN WE call AGAIN as a "different company" either American research kemicals, universal solutions, or something else(i was universal solutions, other girls said other things). Then we ask to speak to whoever the secretary told us was the person we could mail our brochure to. After that we tell them we signed a deal with Walmart and because of that we are mailing out gift cards between 10 and 50 dollars (its always 20 from what Tina the boss has said). Then we try and get the guys home address. After that we ask how long they have been with the company, how many employees they have, and when they get cleaners and degreesers are they in 5s and 10s or bigger drums and totes. Then we tell them about Max 20 all purpose cleaner and Max 25 heavy duty degreese.  After that we say "what i want to do is get you out a box of max 20 and max 25 just so u can see how amazing the products are for yourself. Real quick grab a pen i want to give you some of my details.WE give you our name the "companies name " and then a tool free number to call. WE GET YOUR EMAIL then IF ALL YOU DO IS OPEN IT we get something called a READ RECIEPT.  So that way we can try and screw you over BECAUSE DURING THE CALL I SAY:6 POUCHES TO A BOX AT ONLY 112, WITH BOTH THE MAX 20 AND MAX 25 YOU WILL BE CHARGED 1344!!!!!!! Hard working men (tina and Michelle only allow us to sell to men, and NEVER PURCHING!!!!) Have been fired for accepting these products and when they call in to complain the women literally laugh when they put them on hold. IMPORTANT: THEY ARE NOW CHEM USA, THEY MAY STILL SAY A.R.K. BUT TINA DEFINITELY TOLD THE EMPLOYEES THIS,  NOT TO MENTION THATS WHAT MY CHECKS SAID. I seriously urge everyone Not to do business with them, when i figured out how they were i quit. If you are a manager of any kind that isnt a woman,  owner or purchasing they will try and try and try. Even if you say not interested they will still call. First off this is a legitimate business.  We sell products.  Yes. You should ALWAYS read fine print and if you do not that is not our fault.  Ignore disgruntled employees.

Same experience, Chantell called me from future industrial. Very friendly. told me to comedown to Ft lauderdale so she could show me around. Same crock of crap about me being "the guy with all the headaches" tried to get my email address and home address, to which i didn't give her, and im very glad i didnt after finding this thread. Total Con-artists. A company like this should not be able to exist. Its a disgrace.

I worked here very briefly as the ad for the job claimed to be something completely different. When I go in for the job interview I'm told that the "other job isn't available anymore but I could give sales a try." The whole point of the job is to manipulate and confuse the real point. They want the girls to laugh, flirt, joke and basically stroke the ego as much as possible and sadly it works. They constantly tell the employees it's not a scam and they've been open for 20 years. After much searching and finding this page it is clear they have operated under many different names and selling different products with different incentives. The company is Chem USA, and they are incredibly skilled liars and manipulators. I'd rather be unemployed then tricking people into a scam. They pay their employees on a sliding scale (and screw them over when the leave on their last check). I felt bad every day I worked there. What I can tell you is the address is 2700 West Cypress Creek is correct and where they work out of. The phone number is (877) 239-0386 which takes you to a switch board that is unlikely to let your call through unless you say you're an employee. If you're a man they'll know that's crap because they only hire women. DOW chemicals, Future Industrial, Chem USA, are all the same. They also change the product names: Greenbite (for food grade chemicals), ultra one shot cleaner or degreaser, and more. I am disgruntled because I was duped into working for a big fat scam that I can't even believe is legal. The other person up there may have been hard to understand but she was giving you the pitch the girls just follow. It will be almost exactly what she said. DO NOT OPEN THE EMAILS and if you DO, respond "NO I DO NOT WANT THIS AND WILL NOT ACCEPT THIS DELIVERY." Or simply transfer to purchasing when they call or say "I don't have authority to bring in products only the owner or purchasing does." They will not pitch those people.

As a former employee who left on good terms, this thread is ridiculous. If you buy something with a 30 day money back guarantee from television, you know its not free. You're not getting the full story. The company won't pay their employees for sales until the company receives an actual response from someone agreeing to try their product based upon their satisfaction and the prices are listed along with contact info to cancel if you wish. Just because men enjoy talking to women doesn't mean they are a scam. It's a good sales tactic if you ask me. If you didn't like the job, you shouldn't have taken it and if you didn't like the product, don't send them a check for it. After all, they list on the agreement that it's based upon YOUR satisfaction. They let me work there off and on while I had my kids and they I felt like they genuinely cared about their employees. The employees that they let go early on are usually the drug addicts which are everywhere in South Florida who don't show up to work.

I just saw this after getting a phone call from someone who used to work here. The former employee claiming the place is a scam from March quit because "her Mother up north was suffering from cancer and she had to move to go take care of her". I just saw her visiting the business next door where she also had worked and she was wearing her bathing suit and looked as if she was headed to the beach for the afternoon. I love the glass houses people live in. You shouldn't call legitimate businesses that feed our families liars when you conduct yourself in an unbecoming way....

This company is TERRIBLE. They called once saying they needed an address for a shipment for our warehouse manager. They were given our address, and sent a giant order of crap we don't use - some kind of a grease and a plastic wrap.  They tried to get the money out of us for the order even though we didn't order any of it! We were able to return it and not pay the invoice, but now they're constantly calling! Some rude girl named Candice keeps calling for the warehouse manager and when I tell her he's unavailable she simply hangs up without saying anything.  I call back the number to curse her out and some other girl answers who sounds like she's half asleep.

How is this even a company!?! They should be ashamed of themselves!
