Received a call from this number on the land line at my work. They stated they were calling from ComEd and they were going to disconnect power in an hour if a payment wasn't received. I had been told by a co-worker that she had gotten a call about this situation and the boss said everything was perfectly fine with the stores ComEd bill and it was a scam to get payment information. The person i was talking to kept trying to pressure me into getting in to contact with the boss about it and I kept telling him that I wasn't going to do so. After the 5th time of telling him I wasn't going to get a hold of the boss he called me a "f--in c--k sucker". I just hung up the phone on him and he hasn't called back.

received phone message saying my service would be cut off today because of a non payment issue and I should call the number

Wanted payment information because meters were being replaced and new meters will be installed but since I was supposedly late they would shut down my electric.  heavy accent

received a call stating that they wanted to talk to the owner, that they are ComEd and are going to disconnect the power and it is an emergency. its a scam.

Total scam, do not make any payment to these thieves.

Total scam - said they were sending a tech in a half hour if payment wasn't received, although payments are on automatic debit with my bank.  Explained that - said he didn't know - but if they didn't get it before the tech came, power would be off.  Told me to get a MoneyPak card and call back with the MoneyPak number.  Report them immediately.

Got a call with a person with heavy accent from "electric company" asking if I was aware that the electricity is being shut off.  I immediately hung up as for Com Ed to phone the actual address for inquiries as this is farfetched.

This is a super sophisticated scam because the number that shows up on your caller ID is actually a ComEd service number listed on their website.  Apparently these thieves have a computer program that enables their number to be hidden, and they  are able input ComEd’s number to show up on your caller ID.  ComEd reported to me that this scam has been so successful that they had to have a meeting about it.

I got the same call. Com ed; I asked for the address and it was my business that I closed 4 years ago. And the rude caller said the service will be cut off if I didn't pay up w/ credit card now. What a moron. I said go ahead I'm not even there!
I realized after I hung up I didn't even have a comed account at that place! The land lady pd it and sent me a copy of the bill that I'd pay to her. This caller was scamming people!

Well, these scammers are getting clever!! They called from 877-426-6331 which is actually Comed's real number. However, these idiots actual phone number also shows up on my Caller ID and that is 224-336-0118.  They called my business just minutes ago and I don't even have an electric bill because the building I am in takes care of all utilities. Man, I can see how this would freak somebody out!!

I've received SEVERAL calls from this number.  The caller ID states ComEd.  I live in an area that does NOT have ComEd services, nor do I have any particular account with them.  After reading the reviews left by other people, don't bother answering this phone call or calling them back.

Just got called from this number and my caller ID shows ComEd. Person tells me that they have a disconnect for today since i have not payed my last 3 months. Then i challenged him that you never sent me a notification so by law you cannot disconnect me.  Then they hung up.. So i called the number back its actually a ComEd phone number.

Just got the same "ComEd" call.  Heavy hispanic accent, terrible line connection.  I explained that my boss pays the bills and file them so i KNOW we're PIF.  He just said he doesn't know and kept repeating that I need to contact the billing department at 312-681-0649.  He gave me a confirmation number of CM-00060012.  He made me repeat both back.  I told him i would verify the balance and consider calling and hung up.  My boss is on vacation and has paid 2 months in advance so that he will be current while out of the country LOL.  It did come up as comed on my caller ID

On Aug 13, 2018 I got msg from “ComEd service team” to call billing mng on (312) 702-1061 to protect power disconnection in one hour.

Caller said my electricity will be shut off in 30mins. Caller ID # Comed number but Its a scam because I auto pay my bills. Spoke in Spanish the whole time then tried flipping  the conversation to English after I called him out for lying. "I don't speak Spanish lady".  Be careful people!!

Heavy Indian accent and the same scenario as everyone else.  He was very polite and asked who handles the Com Ed bill and I said that I do.  This is a courtesy call to let you know that your electric is going to be turned off in the next 30 minutes.  I said yea, I know you guys are scammers, goodbye.  He hung up before I did.
