They charged on my credit card. On 4/20, it says Data Services.

Like Pat, they charged my credit card.  The date is listed as 4/23.  There is a 1-877 number and it says DATA SERVICES (my card co. said it is listed as an electronics store).  I called, goes right to VM with no company name, etc.  Waiting for call back.  Will call once more and then will dispute charge.

They charged me too.  $9.40 on 5/03/08
Called number, it just rings and rings. No one ever answers.

I got charged $9.00 plus for data services. I am sure that if I don't pay attention to my bill the next charge be more that $100.00
I canceled my card.

Is anyone else here military? We have 3 fraudulent charges on our bank account...no phone calls..but the bank posts phone numbers in the charge section next to the trace # all 3 fraudulent charges come from NJ...
NJ IDT OPENBAND 1-800-324-5028 Charged $50 Feb-7-2008 (they claim they are a military prepaid calling card service for iraq/afganistan (hubby was injured and sent home last year...the only calling cards we used when he was in country were ATT I sent from home... NJ Business solutions 1-609-910-2942 Charged 9.49 April-5-2008 (they do not answer..only  a message machine says email... support@bsi-concept.com) NJ Data services took $9.45 on June 1 2008.. 877-426-8370 (says call cannot be taken..leave message after tone) 3 unauthorized charges ALL coming from NJ...coincidence? I'm certain all numbers and charges are from the same person...and felt creeped out when I searched all three numbers and found THE SAME THING ABOUT ALL!!!! people posting messages about UNAUTHORIZED CHARGES!!!

I recently had a charge on my Masrercard for $9.35 from Data Services. Since I didn't know who they where and why I was charged I called them. I can't get through to them and I have been calling them. I would like the charge removed.

There is no company name when you call this number it just asks you to leave a message. I have received a $9.35 charge from Data Services. It is a fraudulent charge and you should have you card canceled immediately. They charge such a low amount so that maybe it will just be passed by the credit card holder. But if they do it to 1000 people that's an easy 10,000. I don't know how they are getting the credit card numbers. My card is a corporate card and is only used on secure sites. That has to make you think!

My husband is currently in Iraq. he buys a phone card but i dont know for who? I saw 2 charges for $50.00 each, on 5/08 and 6/08. one of the changes is from OPENBAND PL 123-4567890 NJ, The other is from IDT OPENBAND 800-324-5028. I call this number and a man answered. I asked him what kind of business i was calling and he said " a calling card communications for US soldiers in Iraq" i know that my husband buys calling card but in not sure what kind. funny how they have so many numbers and the above #123-4567890 is so fake! what kind of place shows a # like this??? i will ask my husband about it. if you check out SPAWAR.com one of the numbers comes up.

It might be that this is a legitimate site and company and the otherone8 is using its info as a cover.

OPENBAND PL is one of the many government contractors that spawar switches between. its a legimate VOIP calling service we use from iraq to call home. I know because its the same service I use and the OPENBAND PL or IDT OPENBAND are what show up on my statement whenever i recharge it. generally the recharge ammounts can only be selected as $5,$10,$25,$50,$100 at a time and the website(www.spawar.com) allows your account to be set to auto recharge when you hit a set amount remaining.

The charges may be from spaware cause thats what I use to call home from Iraq and I had tha same "Openband Pl 123-4567890 Nj" on my credit card statement, searched it and this site came up with your posting and thats when I relized I made a transaction not 2 long ago.

I received a bank statement saying that my account was overdrawn!  There has been a charge of $9.40 to my account from the 1-877-426-8370 number.  When I called the number I got a message saying that the mailbox was full.

My husband is in Iraq and he has only been using Att calling cards as well, but my charge was 25.00. What the hell? SO what did you do ?

A pre-recorded message "This is a business call, not a sales call. It is important that you call me back at." Caller did not mention any specific person. Collection agency ?

Harassing me about a debt that is not mine.

I just got a $25 charge too.  My husband is in Iraq and he either uses the work phone or a calling card.  Were you able to do anything about it?  I disputed it with my bank and haven't heard anything back yet.
