- shelleygSame as everyone else. Does anyone else bank with Bank of America?
- Nicole replies to shannonIt's a calling system similar to Vonage. My husband is using it while in Kuwait, etc... anyhow its a great deal. $25 for 10 hours of talking time. The connection is great. The calling cards you may send your husband get eaten up so fast... ask him again, he may also be using this system and forgot to mention it! Take care.
- Nicole replies to MindiIt's a calling system similar to Vonage. My husband is using it while in Kuwait, etc... anyhow its a great deal. $25 for 10 hours of talking time. The connection is great. The calling cards one may send their spouse get eaten up so fast, and are not as practical as the Vonage-like booths... ask him again, he may also be using this system and forgot to mention it! Also, the numbers are funky because the orignate out of VA, but some of the numbers have also been overseas numbers. Take care.
- momcarI received a $9.40 charge on my credit card bill last month. I tried calling the number. I received a voice message that the mailbox is full. I called my credit card company. They are going to take it off of my bill. They told me to watch for it next month and if it appears again to cancel my account. Has anyone tracked it down to how they got the credit card information?
- JP replies to PAT| 2 repliesI am so glad that I found this posting. I seen the charge for OpenBandPL 123-4567890 NJ on my bank statement today, and I was ready to flip out. It was only a $10 charge. But, then after reading this, I realized that it was my husband's SPAWAR calling card. I had it set up to recharge $10 when the balance gets below $10. I just unchecked that box in the preference section so that I do not get charged again because he will be home before we have to recharge it again. And, just incase, I am going to be making sure to tell him to bring the card home with him and not give it away to someone replacing his unit....I don't want to get charged for something we aren't using.
- VicWas charged $9.35 on my bank statement for 14 Jun 08.
- Dan replies to JP| 1 replyMy son is 5 months into his second tour in Iraq. This is a legitimate calling card and his account is charged $50. This is great and at least there is something good for our Iraq vets like this unlike when I was in Vietnam. Yours is only a $10 calling card so what if the card is left behind in Iraq for someone else to use! Let the other soldier or Marine use it.
- Lynne replies to DanHow do you go about getting a card like this. My son is in Iraq and I would like to do this for him.
- wildtavarez replies to Mindimy husband has the same charges on our credit card and all it is is prepaid minutes to call home. its much cheaper than calling cards and you do it over the internet so its easy too
- Dudbstr replies to MindiThis is the service that deployed soldiers use to call home. I asked about calling cards. My son stated that they HAVE to purchase minutes online.
- again replies to Mindithis was on my credit card but not authorized by me - will be canceling credit card once again
- not scammed replies to MindiIDT & Spawar may be legitimate companies, but my credit card registered a purchase of an IDT*SPAWAR phone card, despite my never having purchased one and (until now) never even know what IDT & Spawar were. So, I say beware! Check those credit statements often!
- DrekFRAUD - CREDIT CARD SKIMMING
From Ireland and also got his by IDT SPAWAR call card charge on VISA card. This is an SCAM and indicates your credit card has been skimmed. Cancel card immediately and report to local POLOCIE where your last transactions where made from. Mine was sourced to have been skimmed from inside a petrol station shop and first charge made the same day.
