I answered and they want to me to verify my name and home address. So i hung up on them them blocked the number.

Called and did not leave a message - no message, no return call.

Just got a call from this number. Someone say "Hello....Hello.this message is being recorded...hello..hello.." then hung up..????????????

I received a message from this number.  They would not disclose who they are and informed me that the message was being recorded.

How do you block the number?

This company is Allied Interstate, a debt collection company

They won't leave me alone when I ask who's calling they want my address

They keep calling my several times a day but never leave a message! It's getting quite upsetting and I'm about to change my number.

Get Google voice mail. I have all spam, debt collector for wrong #'s and harassing numbers blocked or sent voice mail. They call, most times with an unknown #, but rarely leave a msg. You can set it up so all anonymous calls go straight to voice mail, but they don't like to leave VMs. You don't even know they call unless you ck Google voice. I love it. I just laugh at them now. I've gotten 6 calls this morning. It's fun now.

They keep calling when I call back someone answer and said nothing please help they won't stop

As of today, August 30, 2012, I am seriously 1 call away from 100 calls this month from Allied Interstate!!!! Can u believe it??? Fools! The calls go straight to my messages and they never leave one. I only know they have called if I check Google Voice. Gotta love GV. Oh, if you're reading this Allied, you're calling the wrong person…still. My number has been circulated through the debt collector cycle for two years and you fools are still calling the wrong person!!!!! As much money as you've wasted calling me, it should be taken out of your pay checks. Oh wait, do u get paid when you don't reach the right person over and over and over again?? I love it.

I had Fifth Third charge off an account 1 day ago and it immediately went to this company. They are a legit debt collector. Fifth Third screwed me as well as other by charging off my checking account that they said they would work with me on since it was negative. They never even called me for over a month let alone to tell me my account was going to be charged off. I was and still am very irritated with my bank. When I called they bugged the crap out of me to set up automatic payments. They also screen your call so they see your number and know who you are. They knew my name before I even said hello.

Got a call from them 9/14/12, it showed up on caller ID.  Obviously, they are calling the wrong number because I just changed my number on 9/13/12 because of junk fax calls we were getting at 1am, 2am, 3am, etc.

All collection agencies or departments can identify you prior to you speaking with caller id. It wouldnt be any different than someone calling your home ( if you have caller id). This is for security in part of the consumer.

Calls at least 2-3 times a day no voicemails left and ive even answered and they said nothing!!! they are annoying the crap out of me. Exspecially since most the time if i do answer it it's ome foreign person and i cant understand a word they are saying.

They called me trying to find the tenant who lived above me in my apartment building at least 4 years ago!
