I'm recieving automated calls with varing messages "important buisness matter" "not a solicitation" "extremely urgent".. Same company called from a different numer before.. I returned a call to the posted number and was asked for my address, name etc... I'm not a moron and told them to get stuffed (in harsher words)... calls stopped for 2 months. Started up about 3 weeks ago and have been calling almost everyday and sometimes up to 3x a day to my bell celluar account (unlisted) under my wife's name but they never call her cell phone (also in her name) or the house phone. It's so far only been automated calls.

This company must be buying old bad dedt for pennies on the dollar and hoping to get a return on investment by automatically flooding the phonelines looking for a couple of hits. By the sounds of the age of some of these (bogus?) accounts the laws (on the time limitation of collectability) concerning bad debts is long past.. I think it's 7 yrs but could be wrong. I've dealt with REAL collection agencys before and this company has to be either a joke or a very successful attempt at mass annoyance.

wont stop calling

I have been receiving messages for months now during the day looking for a call back.  I finally called them back after serveral months of these annoying daily calls.  They quickly asked me "what my number I was calling from", which I provided, they checked it, asked me if I was certain person... I said no, and they said they would take my number off the list.  They did not ask me any other personal details other than the above.

I became suspicious of these guys when I asked for their name and address and threatened to take them to court. The guy didn't want to give me his address.  So I said... how am I goint to pay you if you dont give me the addres.  He's like your going to pay.  I said ya so give me the address and fax number.  I still didn't get it.  Is that crazy or what... I'm going to go to the police or find the address and take a look at this place.  It's just one guy with a strong indian accent.  I think it's a scam.

They have been calling me for a year now!! I been receiving calls from them almost once a day (Weekend included!). I once called back and there was this guy that picked up and asked for my phone number. He asked whether I was Alan Orlando or something like that (which I am not). I told him no and he said I was removed from the list. No calls for 3 months... but it started calling me back again!!! This time not asking for anybody, just an automated machine saying "from Canadian Bonded... for urgent matters."

ARGH! Somebody do something about them!

I get them about every other day. I am so sick of them calling and leaving an automated message. I am sure Rogers or Bell sold our numbers.

This guys are the bottem feeders of collection agencies.

They buy out old accounts that others have given up collecting and are offten too old to legally collect. They offten have little information and know that 80% of the people they are calling have little to nothing to do with the money owning.

Don't give them your name, don't given your address. Don't pay them anything.

I get the calls from this number too.. I do owe money but it still seems like a scam fr all the ppl that are listin comments here... And if it were ppl lookin for money fr me wouldnt they get a live voice to call? And there is NO WAY for them to find me because I moved and my phone was in MY EXS name????? They sometimes call up to 8 times a day its annoying,and I have a baby and they call all hrs of the nite IT needs to stop and all fall they were sayin my Name in the recording.. THey stopped that anyways and just says regrading and very important business matter... same ppl tho.. its not so bad now tho sometimes they call every few days but the past week or so they have been callin once a day! And I want it to STOP!!! And I know IF it was me owing money a LIVE person would call.. How stupid are ya they acuatlly think that if someone owes money would they acutally call them back??DUH! How do I make it stop?

I get a call from this number at LEAST once a day, which unanswered, leaves the same voicemail regarding credit everytime. I AM SOO SICK OF THESE CALLS! I'd LOVE to get their real number and call THEM on the hour, every hour. Don't slip these people any information, don't tell them your name, age anything; they'll take any identity they can from you. If I figure out where this scam is located, I'm getting in my car and SMASHING THAT STUPID MACHINE INTO 1000 PIECES SO WE CAN EACH HAVE ONE TO [***] ON! &@#%!

Been getting calls from this number too... finally called them back, sat on hold forever, finally got someone, asked me if there was a howard somebody there (there isn't) and I said no, and they said they would take my name off the list.. we'll see!

got 2 automated messages from them in 1 day. Second one when I picked-up a phone!! Voice spam IMHO.
Have zero intentions to call back so far

These people have been calling me about 5 times a week for about a year now.. They always leave messages about an important business matter and claim to be 'canadian bonded credit' .. I don't have any outstanding debts and it's extremely annoying. I'm going to call BELL and see if I can put a stop to this harassment.. It has been going on far too long now.

Called me a few times, always while at work. Canadian Bonded Credit Limited. Called back, only waited on hold for a few minutes. Gave the guy my number and said can I speak to Catherine. Well this is my Cell phone I've had for a few years. I'm a boy, not named Catherine. He said, ok sorry. Then hung up. Hopefully this is the last time they call.

I just got a call from this number.  It needs to be stopped.

I have been getting this call every day for almost several months. it drives me crazy. Can we stop it? I really want to sue this company!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have gotten a phone call from this number alot and never answered, its a way to get your information, they say no name to me to know who i am, , today they left a message on my machine,
NOW I FIND THIS SITE, so for sure i know this number is up to know good
if anyone knows how to get this number stopped, traced, etc, tell someone, enough is enough!

Have been getting "ring, no-one on the other end" calls several times since getting new phone number 1 month ago.
Checked this one with *69: call from 877-203-2115 ~11:55 am Saturday.

The Number they called from came up as 877-503-2115 and they identified themselves as "Canadian Bond And Credits Limited".

I say we storm their building and pillage them brutally. And collect their debts.

Phone number comes up on my phone and they do not leave a message.  First time with this number.

Here are some more phone numbers from which this illegally operating business use:

866-637-7783 This is hooked to a fax machine and a guy who they name as "Cleveland Pinder" is apparently supposed to answer it.

They will also give you 416-790-2725. This phone number conveniently has no voice mail. You know, the same voicemail used to play games with us.

If you have an unlisted phone number, under Canadian Law, you must expressly give a caller permission to phone you. It is considered your private property. Same as if someone tries to enter onto your land, for example.

By sending a fax to the 866-637-7783 phone/fax number and expressly forbidding them to use your private phone property; and they again leave a message or actually call again; then they've just officially violated the law. Make certain that you date the fax.

You should not leave your name on the fax or at any time offer to give it when you call from you are speaking on your private property. You need do nothing you don't want to.

It is simply a phishing expedition aggressively operating under the guise of a collection company. Someone answers, they are flustered, upset and forthright. They are asked several questions in order to correct the problem and voila, CBCL then has what they need to continue along.

As for listed phone numbers; use the police and local phone service to monitor their illegal methods, such as operating out of acceptable hours.
