- Johnny G.Been getting this call about 6 times a day for 3 days now. This is June 12, 2015. They never leave a message. Finally, I was home when this knucklehead called me. I picked up the phone on the second ring. A woman asked me if I wanted to join Safe Tree? I said NO! And I told her never to call me again. Yeah, that did the trick. They called and called every half hour for 4 hours. Thank goodness somebody made a product called " Air Blaster'. I answered the call when these morons called and blasted them with a very loud noise. That was this morning. Five hours later, no more calls.
- Caller: Safe Tree?
- Call type: Telemarketer
- Johnny G. replies to cnaI've been down that street before, also. Did you know that all 800 and 877 numbers are NOT free calls? Found out when my bill came in the month before, that 877 numbers will had charge me twice. Also, I pressed #3 when I called that number. These people have no intention of stopping making calls. The "Do Not Call" Registry is a joke, too. That gov't company let's you file up to 4 numbers and the registry will only block the calls for maybe a week.
- SparkyI just moved to a different state and bundled tv internet and phone with Cox Communications. Ever since the phone was activated, I have received numerous calls from various vendors for windows, etc. The most annoying come from ADT, which is not only this number, but multiple others - one even from Hackensack, NJ. (I am in AZ). So, when the last ADT person called today and after I once again explained I had an integrated alarm system built into my home and a large protective dog, I asked where she got my name and phone number. Her answer was "we partner with the phone company". According to the Do Not Call rules we can be harassed by companies that do business with companies we do business with. So much for an unlisted number, when the phone company sells you out.
- Caller: ADT
- Call type: Telemarketer
- Renee BouineauI get frequent calls from this number. VERY annoying!
- JOESCAM Caller says they are from ADT Security Systems. Wanted to know if I have a security system. Is probably planning to have someone break into the house.
NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH ADT SECURITY SYSTEMS- Caller: ADT SECURITY SYSTEMS - SCAM
- Call type: Telemarketer
- JTI just switched to Verizon and got a new land line number several days ago. Already I'm getting 8-10 calls a day from telemarketers who know my name and address. No doubt Verizon sold them the information. [***] Verizon for sending these scam artists to call me. Same thing with my old number when I had Comcast. The telephone companies are in cahoots with these dirt bag telemarketers and scam artists.
- Caller: ADT Security Systems

- Jenny| 1 replyCalls several times a day and won't say anything when you answer. Please block!
- Tamianth replies to Jenny800notes is not affiliated with your callers, we are not calling you either. 800notes is a forum for reporting who calls you and any information you may have about the call to share with other forum users. It is highly doubtful that your callers are reading here also. We can't stop anyone from calling you either or remove from a list.
Consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so. If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number. For tracfone & straight talk:

For text messages: forwarding any text message spam you get to the short code “7726,” which spells “spam” on most phones, to alert your network operator to the abuse. ATT won't accept 7726 But they will accept BLOCK and return a message that the web site is blocked. forward the texts to 7726 or BLOCK, depending on your phone carrier.

E-mail: econsumerwb@ftc.gov - MeghanThis number calls every day multiple times a day. I usually never answer, and they still call. Finally after the 4th call i answerd. The man sound foreign, trying to sell me home ssecurity (ADT) but little do they know i already have ADT,so if it was really them, why would they be trying to sell me home security when i already have it? The number called again and i answerd, they didnt say anything. So i called back and added my number to the do NOT call list, but am still getting calls.
- Caller: ADT home security ?
- Call type: Telemarketer
- E San Juan| 1 replyCall came in; no message left. Returned the call and spoke with Supervisor, Roy Miller of Safe Alarm. He said there is an association with ADT. I wanted to know how got my number; he said that they have various ways of finding numbers to call; he did not know how my number was found. I asked if he would ensure that my number was removed from his list/database. He said it would be. I thanked him for attention to this request. 8 July 2015 10:15am Pacific.
- Caller: Safe Alarm / ADT
- FuryOfFirestormSome company wanting to sell me a home alarm system. 3rd time in an hour these [***] have called me.
- Caller: Toll Free Number

- RodI did not pick up this call. I was on my business phone when our house phone started ringing. It probably rang at least 12 times. This was on a Sunday, which I think is illegal in Missouri if this is a telemarketer. It would be doubly illegal since we're on the the do not call list.
- RichardReceived a call from this phone number. I called the number back and an automated message identified the entity as Safe Tree USA. The message indicated that pressing '3' would remove my number from their marketing list. Really? How do they know my phone number if I have blocked my outgoing caller ID?
- Caller: Safe Tree USA
- Call type: Telemarketer
- Richard replies to IhatespamI just did the same thing. I changed my phone number because I was bombarded with phone calls from unscrupulous spoofers, telemarketers and even legitimate businesses. I almost never use my home phone and It did not cost me a dime to change the number. I chose a new area code assignment thinking it would help deter the phoning scoundrels. AT&T only provides customers with the option to block 20 phone numbers. I have had the number for three days and already have four unwanted phone calls from telemarketers (all on the same day). I am waiting to enroll the number on the gub'ment's Do Not Call website. I want to measure if the spam calls increase or decrease with time. My previous phone number was on the Do Not Call list and it hardly put a dent in the amount of unsolicited calls I had to contend with.
If the Do Not Call website doesn't work I will change my phone number one more time. If that results in epic failure I will do away with my landline altogether. - Leigh| 1 replyAfter dropping Verizon and picking up a bundle package with my local cable company, I have been receiving multiple calls (as much as 15 times per day) from 877-504-1892. If I pick up the phone and speak, they say nothing. If I don't answer the phone, they leave no message. However, once my caller ID showed a name with the number! The name was KEVIN CATALONIA.
- Caller: Kevin Catalonia
- DCHave gotten numerous calls since obtaining landline service from Frontier about a week ago.
