Call the number back its a robocal. Follow promps. And push opped out.  End of calls..

I turned on call blocking, only 20 approved numbers can call my house.  All others get auto disconnected.  lol Life is good again! So long Telemarketers!

Person knew my middle and last name. Ask if I needed home security. I said no thank you and hung up

They are sucka$$ telemarketers , Safetree (WHO-TF???) supposedly for ADT Security. Pests, plain and simple. I switched home phone providers and less than a day later I get a crapfest of calls for stuff I don't need &  didn't ask for. They're now blocked, waste of space and breath losers!

These idiots just called while I had "800notes.com" up reading about them.  I answered, said nothing and eventually a man of Indian descent started "hello, hello" .  He was peddling ADT Security Systems!  Told him I wanted calls to stop, he said no more calls.

Like other commenters, I had new Verizon FIOS service installed and 2 days later I get a call from this number. Man w a foreign accent asked for me by my first name. I asked him who he was and he said "I'm a telemarketer". I told him to never call again.  Incredible that I haven't even notified family and friends of my new number and I immediately start getting telemarketing calls.

You rely on a worthless system called the "Do not call" list.  Scammers call people on the list on purpose.
It takes the guess work out of actually reaching a person.  If your number is on that list then the scammers know it is active.  You guys put faith in a worthless US Government program.

Your post is so ridiculously false it makes me laugh. Do you know what it costs to buy a copy of the DNC list? Do you know how to obtain a copy?

Your tin foil hat must have slipped off. Ask your mother to make you another one.

Put the blame where it really lay's, with the criminals and illegal telemarketers.
The DNC works just fine. It is for telemarketers only and honest business does indeed abide by it. It is the criminals (which includes illegal telemarketers), frauds and scammers that do not. However, the Fed. DNC does not cover some survey's, Political or Charities.  You would need to check your states DNC laws to see if these are under your states DNC laws.  The fact remains that they are not automatic call blockers though and can not protect you from the calls that are criminal, illegal or fraudulent.

Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone..  You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

Telemaggoters never have and never will honor the DNCR. This is especially true when it comes to those based overseas since it impossible to take any kind of action if the country of origin will not cooperate.

These idiots continue to call. I told the "salesperson" don't call back. Within 3 minutes he calls back saying "I'm trying to make a sale!" I hung up. I get another call 3 hrs later this time I asked who I was talking to he said "John Smith" yeah right and I'm Pocahontas... Anyway I'm going to the do not call website to report this. Oh and don't even try to push 0 to talk to a rep because everyone who answers is a "supervisor".

Caller says they are the department of revenue calling for my husband. Also received letter all beginning less than 2 weeks after we had our new phone installed. Only our mothers have our landline number. We don't even put it on any applications for anyything.  Funny thing is, my husbands name isn't even on the phone account.

They call me several times a day, every single day. Caller ID lists the number as Toll Free Number so I don't answer the phone . They never leave a message. It is so annoying!

this number calls several times a day.  I have also changed my phone number, made my phone number private. when I picked up the phone they hang up every time.

Called and hung up. I have had my landlone for 2 days and they have called 3 times.

Calls every day. Some times twice day. I did some research for this number. Its from a call center.

Call is from a guy with a heavy middle eastern accent selling a home security system. Was able to hear a bunch of other telemarketers in the background.
