I just recieved this call

My son just got called from EW Pendelton and Associates.  When I called them back they told me they could not tell me what it concerned.  So I told them I told them that i could not relay the message.  The number they are using now is 1-866-638-1964.  In the message they also stated something about going to court.

Received same phone call from a different number and the man said he was a lawyer and if I didn't call him back I had better be ready to travel. This number is 866-638-1964

I'm relieved to read this.  I just got a message today from so called "Timothy Bradwell", threatening to come by my residence or place of employment within 24 hours.  He said he was from my county's legal division which made me think it may be legit.  After some Googling,  I now know its a scam.

I got a call from these people saying they will come toy house between 4 & 5 however I work lol, make threats all you want, I called the people back to see what it was and a lady answered put me on hold after I gave my name then came back wanting me to verify my ssn#, good luck with that, I told her if she can not tell me what it's about I'm not giving my info over the phone, I've had I'd theft before so will never do that, I asked her to tell me what it's about and she said well you will have the information on the documents then she hung up on me....wow real professional.

I received a call from Pendleton group and associates stating I had a bounced check from my bank I currently bank with. They even stated  this check was in check systems for fraud. I have not written a check in about a year then they went on to tell me I couldn't afford to pay it. That I know about it and I'm just too broke to handle my affairs. I have never dealt with such unprofessionalism. I got off the phone with them and called my bank and they told me there was no such check ever bounced and if there were they would have notified me. What is really concerning to me is they had my SS # my address and all my personal information. They should be ashamed. Scare tactics, belittling, the whole nine yards.
