Says he has a file, no information, does not state who he is looking for

says she has a file that has just been delivered to her desk!
gasp!
then she leaves this phone number.
i can't wait until 8am tomorrow to call her back regarding the file that has just been delivered to her desk!

What type of collection agency is this?  I just got a call from them too.. But didn't answer..

They called me last week and spouted off the last four of a s's# that wasn't ours I asked questions today after one their agents called my daughters phone and offered to take her to a party and asked to speak to her dad. I've refused to give out social security # over phone and when they wouldn't give me info I said then mail us the info and she spouted off an address that was not ours not never has been.  I researched on bbb (better business bureau) they have no accreditation are affiliated with someplace called regeant that buys off old loans or those close to limit of statations and demand payment they are not a legitimate collection agency according to bbb they are rude hang up on you and refuse to quit calling even when stated they have wrong address and phone.  I'm seriously considering calling a lawyer. They are based out of Kansas and names are zach, mike jones, Eugene, nikki jones ... Numbers used 18775596890 1866 numbers also

This number just called me and no one spoke.

These people really pissed me off, it has to be a joke because they were making fun of me and rude and hell. Saying I owe money to us bank (which i do) and telling me they need this file of his desk by end of day and asking for bank information to pay it. First it was "Jenn Steelman" who called and she couldn't respond to none of my questions regarding the debt and then a man picked up saying "what seems to be the problem Don?" So I told him and he started yelling me saying its me fault and then when i start speaking he goes awww, or ohhhh and mimicking me. I told him i was gonna report and sue his [***] and then made fun of me saying how can i do that when i cant afford to pay this debt and laught. He eventually hung up on me because he wouldn't give me his full name he said he was Jason and kept saying his name is not important whats important is what he has on me my name,ssn,address and other stuff so i cursed him out and he was going back and foth with me but was like im just gonna go and forward this file then and hung up. I didnt give him any of me information so dont know what he has or where he got it from?

I got a call from this # this afternoon. The guy said his name is JOBIE and said he is a friend of mine which is ridiculous. I told him that I don't have any friend named JOBIE and he must have mistaken my #. He asked me several times- "Are you sure you don't know JOBIE?" I replied- No. So, he got frustrated and finally hanged up the phone. Guys, this person seems a scammer so please don't give him any of your personal infos.

Got that call just yesterday.  Thanks for the posts, let's me know this Mike guy has bothered you too.

Have received this call twice in the past week.  They only leave a message to call them back at an extension.  Sounds like the same group.  Telling you to call back to get "the file" off their desk.
877-559-9860 ext.1314.  Could not quite understand the name, sounded like Brian Carlit.

"Carlton" called and left a mssg. I am not sure what company he is supposedly from because he started leaving the message before the beep - which tells me it is a recorded message. I don't call anyone anywhere to give them information about me regardless of how urgent it is or who is "in trouble."

The part of the message i received claimed the information was needed to get a friend of mine out of trouble. How knowing my "current contact information" is going to save anyone from falling down a well, I do not know.

So I do not believe their story and would not give out the information even if I did believe it. Any friend of mine would know that.

And if it is a collection agency, they can stand in line and take a number!

It was Tiger Woods asking if I had seen his game. Apparently he's lost it.

No message left...just a beeping sound and when I called the number back it said nobody was available at some extension and to leave a message...I just hung up.

Message left but not for any specific person  - didn't recognized the number - didn't quite understand the message - something about a file - don't plan on returning the call.

This number has been a constant caller and all that shows on caller ID is "800 Service". The last this morning was "Mike" and asking fror some strange named person unknown.  Does anyone know what their con game is?

a similar message, from "joseph", at extension 1374 , about a file that just landed on his desk, but he couldn't leave any personal info by voice mail, and that I should call to get this resolved...ha!

Received a call from these wonderful people last nite, did not choose to leave a message. When I called then number, the recording indicated that I should hold as I could choose from a Princess or other Cruise and that I had won a prize.  Needless to say I hung up. Not sure what kind of scam they are running.

I received a call on my cell from a man named Richard from Imperial Recovery Partners Claim Enforcement Office saying that I have an overdue account in the amount of 198.40 from Wells Fargo Bank on a credit card that was closed in 2008. Said they had sent several notices to me at an address in Fontana, California that I have never lived at and have called several times. This is the 1st call I've gotten from them. Gave me an account # he claims is mine. He wanted me to pay up right now with a credit card or electronic check payment. Wanted my SS# and home address. Gave him nothing and hung up . Called Wells Fargo and I have no outstanding credit with them. I am a member of LifeLock and contaced them with this information. They confirmed several of their members have received calls from this group. This is a fraud and scam. Look out.

They called us again. This time "Jack Miller" had our "File" left on his desk. Well our "File" sure gets around that office. This must be the 3rd or 4th desk where our "File" has landed. As far as I'm concerned they can keep my "File" in circulation. It's a SCAM of some sort!
