This is Medicredit, inc. They are a medical bill collection agency.

I got a call from this number at 1:23am.............Isn't this against any & all laws?!? I owe nothing to such a company.

collection agency, I think. they left no message. I have no outstanding debts to my knowledge.

    Picked-up......Robo call, listen to message,  stated they had important message, call from the "Outsource Group"
stating they represent the UNC Health Care.

So, the way this works is UNC Hospital system, somehow forwards your personal information to the Outsource Group... which will then call relentlessly under the guise of "helping you apply for public healthcare".  It doesn't matter that you do not owe them any money, they do this regardless in an attempt to gain access to your confidential medical and personal information.  Last I checked the Outsource Group is affiliated with some kind of flim flam originating out of India.  Until someone actually has the b@lls to sue UNC Hospital over this it will likely continue.  I got a human being before who agreed to wipe my data out of their system (yeah right), which was about a year ago... and today it started again.  Please file complaints with FCC and FTC for the Outsource Group.

Due to long delay awaiting approval for financial medical assistance (and no acceptance or denial), UNC Medical turned our bills over to a medical collection agency.  Application delays due to new computer system and enormous influx of "illegals".  I do not think this is fair.  Both of us are seniors on disability with serious life issues.

This company (unknown) keeps calling my cell phone.  I have asked them to stop calling with no avail.

I also received a call from them. They are managing bills for UNC Chapel Hill Healthcare. I am on a payment plan ($170 over 3 years - interest free, as a courtesy by UNC) and they wanted to know if I want to put other bills on the payment plan. I usually pay my bills online via myuncchart.org. Don't know if they are behind this but so far no problems.

I get this call and do not have any outstanding medical bills.  They call at least once a day and do not disclose who they are.

But I just saw Robert's message was in 2012 and it's 2015 so I guess the number could have changed to a different business.

They have been calling every few days for weeks now. I always got a recorded voicemail saying they are calling from Parallon on behalf of UNC health care. I finally called back, got a worked who immediately somehow knew my name and asked for my address, DOB, and account number, which I denied, I asked what it was for, and she said for personal services. I said and where are you calling from, she said on behalf of UNC hospital. I have never been to UNC hospital so I would not have an outstanding bill, and if I did, I'm pretty sure I would have gotten something in the mail by now. Anyways I told her that and she said well you can tell that to the debt collectors when they call you about the bill and then hung up on me. Such a scam!

Just received a call from this number at work. No one was on the other end.

I just received a call from this number on my work phone. It was a garbled recorded message asking me to press different numbers depending on whether I was the person they were calling, a person who could take a message for the person they were calling, or the wrong person. I could hear the last name was my mother's last name. But when I pushed the button that corresponded with willingness to take a message, I heard another garbled message before being cut off. I won't bother answering a call from this number again.
