Repeated calls never leaves a message

They keep looking for someone with my last name.  Have no idea who they are looking for.
Guessing it's a debt collector or skip trace company.

I just received a call from this number moments after some of the previous callers above did.  Looking for my brother in law.  A few months ago another company was looking for him as well and were questionable in their tactics, nasty, and totally unprofessional.  In fact I found many websites mentioning it may be fraud.  I gave them absolutely no information on him. When I told them to stop calling me or I'd file a complaint for harassment (they were calling every few weeks) athey called back 15 min later from a restricted number.  I suspect this is the same company with new tactics.  I initially thought there might be some legitimacy to their incessant calls, my brother in law has owed money to a lot of people.  But now I just think they are criminals.  The original company calling me was based out of Oregon.  I can't remember the name of the company now.  I will update if I can recall it.

Called my cell AND my job looking for me. Same recorded message as above except I had to call the number back to talk to someone. The recorded answer was for RBG, I think. I called twice trying to get info but they wouldn't give me any. Very rude. Accused ME of wasting THEIR time. They did know my ss# and repeated the entire number back to me on the phone! All they would tell me was that they are a 'credit guarantor'. I know I don't have any bad debt out there (I check my credit report annually) and I've never signed for someone else.  SCAMSCAMSCAM!! At the very end the last guy said "See you in court" and slammed down the phone.

This call keeps coming in and leaves voicemail inquiring about my (deceased) brother-in law!!!  Don't know how to stop them, if I block, they just call from a different number

I received a call but couldn't understand the message but I called and its from a company called BRG and it's a debt collector. They wanted me to give them information about myself and if their calling about a person shouldn't they have all the information if they claim a debt is owed.  I was called from 877-610-7084

Got a call from this number a few times now. Completely automated and they asked for an unintelligible name. Definitely scam imo.

They called my cell many times.  I did not pick up because i did not recognize the business.  The calls went to my voice mail but left no message.  Started to run my phone bill so i thought i better figure out what they want.  When i called, they recognized my number right away.  The lady rep asked me right away if i know a certain person.  Upon hearing that i just went berserk!  I said what the hell you asking me that question?  Who are you? Where did you get my cell phone number? Are you selling something?  You aware you are running my phone bill!  She gave me vague answers to my questions.  I was screaming mad that the lady at the other line said i will not be contacted again.

I got a call on my cell and at work, recording that pops your name in and they want you to call with your info, which they should have already. I'm not calling back, a reputable agency will send you something in the mail giving you 30 days to dispute it.

Got more calls today looking for someone (who I do know to be someone frequently in collections).  I called the number back over and over speaking to several different people trying to get a feel for how many people are working this operation.  Would say not very many.  I Let them know if they called my number again I would file a police report for harassment.  Oddly they claim now my number 'does not show up' and must have been deleted.   Got 3 separate people on the phone all 3 hung up on me when I asked them about their business.  I also let them know it appears it's a scam.  If this was a legitimate debt collection agency they wouldn't be hanging up on people.  They claim their company name is BRG, however their phone directory is empty.  And clearly there is no back trace on their phone number other than these types of websites.  I googled Bornview Recovery Group, came up with Bournview Recovery Group...... basically a dead website out of a box, thrown up to look legitimate.  http://www.bournviewrecoverygroup.info/home.html   This is a scam.  Take notes when they call, let them know you're tracking and let them know you'll file a police report if they continue to call.  They'll stop.

It is concerning they know your SNN.  This may have been the result of a security breach in a credit card, brokerage, or banking account.  Since I have an account that is one of millions that the FBI is investigating for having been hacked without withdrawal of funds, I have been suspicious that these calls are related to that incident.  In the report I was given, it appeared that the hackers were looking for contact info.

This is happening to me they have been calling for a week and asking for me but its an automated call. The problem is they call my husbands phone and my moms house. They leave messages for me to call back but when I do no answer just an intro stating their name (BRG) or (BGR). I googled them and nothing just this page. How can I make them stop.

This phone number called with my name looking for me. I did not answer so it was a voice mail. Called back but no one picked up. Will not be giving my info to them.

So I finally got a hold of someone claiming I owe money to some Triple Services LLC they say it's an online payday advance. Yeah no way I would take that they charge like 100% interest in that. Lol. Anyways as soon as I told them no way that was me and told them I filed BK they said oh yes we see here to did ok never mind no more calls from us. WTF, how can that be cause I haven't filed BK. SMH

Company left voicemails to my family members and on my cell regarding tracing efforts. When I called back they had my personal information and referenced a loan prior to 2007 that I had applied for a cash advance that I never repaid. It's not possible for me to have had a loan at that time because I was a minor. I asked them to remove them from my list and that I would be reporting them to my identity theft company

Same as above, exact same vm...called several times and finally answered and they wanted me to confirm info.  WHATEVER.  No info given, definite scam!

They call they will never leave a message and they never answer the phone and you wait on hold forever

This company is a scam. They received personal info from a security breech and can reference it to make them seem legit. DO NOT pay a dime to them. Report THEM. They are extremely rude and harassing for no reason at all- except to try to intimidate you with words like "see you in court", etc. If you decide to answer, tell them that they are being recorded and you have them on a trace. Or just say you filed BK- even if you haven't. And if you're already having a bad day- feel free to lob some nice 4 letter words their way. It's not bad if you're saying it to someone who is trying to scam you. :)
