- DO NOT CALL MEReceived a call from this number wanting information on a relative. When I told him I would have them call him back if he left me his number, he asked me to hold for just a moment. I hung up and have not received a call back.
When I asked him what he wanted, he was very vague and said, "Oh no, this is just a call verifying ????". Just some double talk from the guy.
DO NOT CALL ME AGAIN!!- Caller: ??
- Allenit is a collection agency - but they will not tell what company -

- Anony-Mouse| 1 replyJust got a call from this number looking for someone that I've never heard of.
They actually did give a name, but it seems fairly generic: "Client services incorporated"
Obviously a creditor, as soon as I stated that I had no idea who they were looking for, he gave the "this call may be recorded and monitored" statement and then said he would remove my number. Hmm... Believe that when I see it.- Caller: client services inc

- Joe DirtaySeveral calls asking for someone I don't know. Sometimes just hanging up when I answer. Called back and they politely said they would remove my number from their database. Doubt it. Probably a debt collector or telemarketing firm.

- Surfer ScottCalled me last week, I answered. He was calling about my past due Bill Me Later/Paypal Credit account. I told him I would make a payment online by the end of the week(which I did). Keeps calling day and night. Account is current, if he calls one more time, I'm filing a complaint. I think he's pissed I made the payment directly to Paypal, he doesn't get his kickback for collecting. My fault for running late on the payment, but they need to chill out.

- The Baybeannoying collection or telemarketing call. Hung up on them.
- DebbiI came back to my desk to see the missed call on my cell phone. No message. Called back, after looking at this site, and got a recording "Client Services Incorporated". I googled and found their website: http://www.clientservices.com/ They ARE a collection agency, which is very confusing to me as all my credit cards are paid on time with a little extra. Somehow, some of these companies are getting hold of hospital and doctors info, and calling. Six months ago I had to have my Insurance company go to bat for me, and they got one company to quit calling. It was actually the hospital that had coded something wrong.
The other company, American Medical Collections, I went to their website, used the Contact Us option, and explained in multiple paragraphs that the Lab they were trying to collect for had gone out of business, and the doctor that used that lab had passed away. I'd been seeing that Dr. for 10 years, and the lab had always billed him. Funny thing... haven't heard anything from them in over 4 months.
I worked very hard to get my credit where it is today. I'll be damned if these people mess it up.- Caller: Client Services Incorporated

- Marcy| 2 repliesThis call felt more like a fishing scam to me. They called and refused to tell me who they were until I told them who I was. I don't owe anyone, anything. My credit is good. They said I owed pay pal money. This is false. They seemed uncertain about the vendors and gave me three dates where a transaction occurred using my information. These ironically were dates when I was traveling. They had called my mother's number(when did I ever give that information away?) She refused to give them information, but asked for their's. They told her they d track me down another way and hung up. They knew my birthdate, last 4 digits of my social, my name, but not my full name. They had a partial address for me from 15 years ago. They had my ex husbands home phone number. I felt like they were trying to piece enough information together so that they could potentially open up a credit card in my account. It was weird, and felt suspicious and violating. They tried to get a current address from me and I refused. They wrote the phone call off as if their may have been fraudulent activity and they would file a report. The entire call felt like B.S. to me. I called my bank and the credit bureau for protection following this call. Do not give these people anymore information than they already have. Do not identify yourself if they won't tell you why they are calling.

- BS collectors drive me nuts replies to MarcyThe thing is they are required by law to tell you they are a creditor, the name of their agency and who they want. The do not have to provide any other information to just the random person answering their phone call. In fact it is against the law for them to do so. For instance, they can't call your mother and tell them they are looking for you because you owe money. They can't threaten you or anyone else with anyting and all you have to do is tell them you won't speak to them on the phone and to send everything by mail. Hang up. No need for you to give out any information at all or verify anything.
A real collection agency will already have your information from the original creditor. and will have no problem following the law. - DarleneScam! Claims you have an outstanding debt (in this case "PayPal") and when you deny it, they tell you they will file a fraud report for you if you will give them the last four digits of your Social Security Number. Hang up! Better yet, don't answer.

- Jozee| 2 repliesthis company called me asking for info on my son. They left a message on my phone. My son has his own accounts etc. what the heck?
- Caller: Collection Agency for PayPal
- DaveStarted with a warning that this call would be monitored/recorded etc. Then asked to speak to my sister by first name. No reason why anyone should expect to reach her at my cell phone. I told them this was my personal number and no one else, they asked if I had a better number to reach her at. Woman was definitely not friendly. Kept pushing for info. I said I don't know and she took it as I don't know her. I left it at that. Told my sister, she thought it was strange, so I looked it up and found this.
- DodgeyCalled my cell, wouldn't tell me who they were or why calling. So, I wouldn't tell them who I was. I mean if you are a reputable company why wouldn't you identify yourself?
- DonmyoungchunIs it chase card services or TJ max or Baron's? The latter two are going out of business.

- Skip LarsonCalled my Ex-Wife and my current wife saying I owe $2300 for a PayPal Bill Me Later. I have never used this service and I am a regular requester of my personal credit report that is spotless with no mention of a PayPal credit account. This is a harassing company that needs to go away.

- Elizabeth replies to JozeeI got a voicemail looking for my son, asking for me to tell them where he lives, his cell and his work info. My thought was...if you gave him credit, wouldn't you know all that info? He has had the same cell phone # since he was 13, he's 24 now. I tried call the number back and it rings and rings, then does this busy signal sound and hangs up?
- smcI received a call from this number every day for a week so finally answered the call yesterday. they said I had an overdue paypal account. They knew my phone and had my address from 8 years ago. When I said I don't even have an account, they said maybe its a different person let me verify your birthdate. Sine the call threw me off ( I have great credit, no outstanding bills, or a paypal account, I blurted out my bday and they said that was the info they had. I had to hang up before I got to hear the details because I was going to an appt. So I called back today, and yes they say call is recorded and they asked to verify my bday and last 4 of my social to identify me . I said I wasn't going to give them my last 4 since obviously someone already had too much of my personal info.
I had checked my credit report in the evening and it was clean, so I told them I was not aware of any outstanding bills. Their response was that since it was through paypal it would not show up on credit reports. So I asked who did I supposedly buy something from and they said they would have to check that info and get back with me. If I hear back I will update this post. The people I talked to were both polite.- Caller: client services incoporated
