Usually receive automated message, but real "Russell" called and left a message this time. Still a scam, read all about them FFG Financial Group. 877-683-5486.  Don't dig a deeper hole.

I just received a call from the same number and also from some named Russel.  This number is associated with Frontier Financial Group.  They are a debt collection agency.  DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION!!  If you have some outstanding debts either handle them with your lender directly or contact an attorney for your best solution ex:  bankruptcy, debt renegotiation etc.  

But I repeat DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE ANY INFORMATION!!

This caller calls daily and tells you to call them back regarding a matter that may or may not concern us.

It looks to me like a scam, if you look from the 877 number compare to the others, it looks just the same as you got. " Just a thought".

I thought I was probably the only one getting this, I just had a call from them @ 1:47 today, with my surround area codes. This is the second time that I've gotten this call, so I decided to look up the number and came upon this blog... I'm very surprise that a lot of you guys have gotten this call also.

Beside I never like to pick up calls from ppl that I certainly don't recognized or know.

This number is calling people in my building that I don't know asking if they know me. Calling other family members harassing them. I have tried to work out a payment they won't take it. What do I do?

I just got the same exactly crap. Same name Russel. The website is fake. Never give out personal infor. on the phone. I just delete the voicemeils. It's a scam. Do not trust. I wish the damn gov't would do something about these jerks.

I too have had the exact same experience with multiple messages on my answering machine. I never called back because the message sounded so fake.  I finally gave in and tried to call today and discovered this website.  Thanks!

I got today a somehow intimidatory phone message from RUSSELL from FRONTIER, saying that it was an urgent and important matter that I better called them back.

I don't owe anything to anybody, but I thought of calling them back, and someone by the name of LINDSEY answered, but I immediately hung up the phone as I was simultaneously reading this post and realized it was a scam.

RUSSELL FROM FRONTIER, TELEPHONE 1-877-683-5486 should be reported to the Police.

I get the exact same message, verbatim, a couple of times a week. I have the number blocked. It is making me mad. "This is Russell from Frontier Communications. I am calling regarding an incident which may or may not affect you. Please give me a call and I will tell you the specifics of the incident. BLAH BLAH HORSE SH*T BLAH BLAH!" What I find interesting is that he never says who the EFF he is calling for. Suspicious.
I blocked the number, but it just sends it straight to voicemail. So I still have to listen to ignorant, annoying Russell.

I received the same message, "Hi, this is Russel from Frontier Financial Group, please call me regarding may or may not affect you,You can reach me at 1(877) 683-5486 and I'll explain a bit further. Again, the number is, 1(877) 683-5486."

My caller ID reports it was received from 1-651-829-6338.  I have never missed a bill in my life, so maybe it's one of Tim Pawlenty's campaign crafty fundraisers.

Same thing from Russel.  Keeps bothering me with messages.  Frontier Financial is a [***] scam do not give them any information if you value your identity and privacy.

Thank you.  That's the exact same message they left at the office.  I was suspicious when he wouldn't give more info than it may or may not involve you.  Nope...........not gonna call him back.  Sorry RUSSELL.

Tired of Russell from Frontier 1-877-683-5486, calling every day, it has reached harassment levels. How can this be reported to authorities?

I received a call from lenny saying there in Pennsylvania know my information want money for a credit card I owe but, yet they didn't wana listen to anything I said they wanted was my card info I know I owe but, if I get bills I will pay no problem. What can I do?

Russel from Frontier Financial Group leaves a message from random local phone numbers quite often saying I may be associated with a file. I received a call at 9:20pm last night. No one would respond when I answered or called back. I suspect this call was associated with these people. He has left messages to call 1 (877) 683-5486. Sounds like a bottom of the barrel debt collector.

Can these people stop calling send put bills. I'm sick of ffg calling me demanding me give money

I got a call today 8/26/11 around 1:30 our time from a Russell of the Frontier Financial Group saying the same thing that other people got.  He called me at my job.We should report him to the authorities so he stops harassing people.  Don't ever ever submit to this kind of calls. Don't even answer them.

Russell has been calling me too regarding "a matter which may or may not concern me." Wtf? I haven't callwed back as I get shady calls all the time for some reason and don't even bother answering my phone unless I know who it is. This guy is equally as shady, I have no debt other than credit card bills which I'm far from being behind on. And I'm young enough to say I don't have any financial history that couldn't caused this call. I'm not calling back, this is just sketchy to me. I'm glad I'm not the only one!
