For months now I have been getting calls from Johnson Associates and from several different callers and when I finally called them back they for somebody by name whom I don't know. I told them that person does not live at this address and my phone number does not belong to them, they said thank you and hung up. I still continue to get calls from them, I asked them to take my number off their list but I still continue to get calls from them. Today, I called them back again and I asked to speak to a supervisor, I was told that they are all on other calls. i asked again to take my number off the list like I had previously requested and the agent hung up on me. I called back two more times and was hung up on again.

first I would like to say I've been getting calls from these people for the last month and a half, it's all been from a local number recently and I would like to thank all of you for all your post I was finna pay these people you guys say my life

I got a call today on my cell phone asking to speak to my husband.  The call came from this toll free number.  I told the man that this was not the correct number for my husband and he said this number was down as an emergency contact and he had a BIG emergency. He said there were two complaints that were going to litigation against my husband -- one for a bad check and another for auto pay that the account was closed on (maliciously) for the payroll.  My baby started fussing right then and I asked them to call me right back.  I started asking questions but I was not able to get all the info I needed.

This caused me a WHOLE lot of stress.  My husband is divorced and I was thinking this had something to do with his ex wife or her dishonest dad who cheated him in a business venture a few years back.

They never called me back and I am glad I searched the phone number on the internet to see that this is most likely a scam.

Help me, if you have their address where u sent money, i would go to attorney general or local law and report and give them their information and tell them u were threatened into paying. Doubt u will get your money back unfortunately.. I was gonna send them money when they threatened me too and i spoke to attorney first.. Goodluck

these people just keep calling and I do not answer cause i don't think they are legit....tell me they are going to call my place of employment and get a rerstraining order(for what?????)and that I have 4hrs to contact them and my attorney has 24 hrs to clear this matter....threaten ...yes they do......I do owe some debs from way back but these people when you call tell you nothing other than yell....Well if I can get ahold of a recorder i will record them and tell them I will be recording this call............What is wrong with these people I think scammers...say they are from Johnson and asscociates and always says pretty much the same as others have reported...I will be damn if I give them any money...and I sure am not going to admit a damn thing to them....Only wish someway I could get them to stop calling......

File a complaint with FTC and definitely with your state's Attorney General.  They should be able to get the calls to stop.  I live in PA and everytime one of these low life scumbags companies calls me I file a complaint with the AG and the calls 95% of the time cease.

If you can get an physical address from them(not a PO Box) you can send them a cease and desist letter and a request for debt validation.  Send it certified mail so you know that they have received.  You can find templates for each letter online.  Chances are however that when you ask them for their address they will either tell you that they don't have to give to you(illegal) or will hang up on you if keep asking.

They are getting slick. They call from a local number (on the caller ID) and then start the collection routine.

well Johnson and associates called saying i owed a bill and to pay them off i needed to pay 763 dollars and after i asked what company they say some crazy name and he started becoming very rude saying that he was going to have a warrant out for my arrest. Mike was his name and a woman called back around 6pm saying she was going to take me to court.I ignored the call and she left a voice mail.

Keep receiving calls from this number, claims Law firm of Johnson & Assoc. Refuses to provide physical address as there is no firm called Johnson & Assoc., they do not exist on paper or licensed with Attny., General.  Callers are calling from their homes, there will be no Supervisor to talk to.  All you can do is save the calls and forward to the State Attny General as I have.

I was getting calls from them and it ended up in a yelling match between me and the guy on the phone. I don't know how they got my number, either but I told him I wasn't an elderly person they could take advantage of and I was going to report the number as fraud. This was after he told me he was here to help me even though I said I didn't owe money to anyone and am up to date on my bills - he yelled at me and I yelled at him. He asked me who I was and what number I was calling from and I told him he should know as 'his' number was calling me all the time! I looked at Better Business Bureau and they have an F rating - they are frauds taking advantage of people and trying to scare them.

Look them up in Better Business Bureau where they have an F rating - the address is there and looks like they are in South Carolina! I told them I was going to report them as fraud,

Johnston and assoc just left a voice mail on my phone.  About debt collection.

As with all the other post, I, too, received a call from this number. Very harassing! I put a "block" on this number.

This number called me I didn't recognize it and now I am glad I didn't answer!

Left no message. Annoying

First a 248-605-0145 called then the next morning the 877-684-7731 called.  The First Lady said her name was Jawanda and I didn't answer the second number but somehow they are connected to each other!

Sick of these people looking for someone and calling everyone.....scam?  Or maybe the person they are looking for passed away. WHO KNOWS.     STOP CALLING!
