guy said he’s from the police department asking if i was the household and asking for donation.

Robotic voice. Partially audible in Voice mail. something about "payment couldn't be processed at 10:30 PM" and proceeds to try it again...
well, it is surely a spam/scam call

I think you meant to say "In my case, I knew who called me but looked up the number anyway."

Computer voice says something about choosing One Call Now - whatever that is.  Blocked.

Thought this was spam at first, but it was an automated call to tell me that my trash pickup would be a day later this week because of Thanksgiving. So a legit call but I assume the service is used for other purposes.

This number is a blessing as nket call service, in this case from my employer advising about my next work day.  Most likely a legitimate call.

I received a call from this number and it was a foreign person you could not understand but something about they received my application and knew my service starting and release date and they were just waiting for my gross income.  I applied from the VA Admin. for some hearing aids and have had the test with them.  The tester said i should be getting the results from another section of the VA.  Don’t want to lose out on this but sounded fishy to me.

Received a call from this number today.  Caller ID said "Archbold Evangelical Church" but the call was not from any church, it was an automated status report (computer generated voice) from the nursing home where my father lives.  Apparently some kind of a robocall service used by many outfits, but they need to do something about the caller ID.

Robot call threatening my electric service would be cut off in 30 minutes due to lack of payment. Nashville Electric says this is a scam and to ignore. NES also said to report it to the FTC complaint website, which turns out to be difficult unless you have a lot of patience.

Why would I be getting calls from this number when I live in Canada?

Received a voicemail stating all interviews will be via phone and should last about 30 minutes. Did not leave a company name.

I have this number blocked. It shows you every morning when I wake up as a blocked call.
