funniest thing about this number .... after i recieved a call from "david Jones" who is a process server, who when asked how do i call you back to make sure that i can meet you in person since you just told me i was being served, he stated he does not have a phone number infact he was calling from a call center that does not serve people, and he will put this on a 24 hour hold. gave me 877-713-4370 to call to get this figured out..
I called spoke to Jason who answered "corporate line"  really this is "rockwell management services" the 1031-02936 was my account number. after jason couldnt find my file (6 minutes later) he siad uummmm . Michelle, i said no i am Megan, oh i think we have the wrong person. told him i am a bill collector by profession i can find her for you so that i do not get calls from you? he laughed said we can find anyone. i asked him then why jason are you calling me? jason hung up the phone. lol

David Jones spoke to me. Said he was a process server but couldn't give me his client and indicated he wasn't the one who would serve the papers because he was not local. All he needed from me was who was authorized to sign for the person he was supposed to serve. I told him it was not me and I didn't know who that person was. I told him I'd gladly pass the msg along if he would tell me who the client was. He didn;t know. My guess is that this is nothing but a collection agency scam and the use of process server is nothing more than a fear through intimidation tactic by same. The person he was looking for is represented by a lawyer in 1 incident which was non-suited. I won't give information out until I know who it is. They do not need to be called anyway. Let them serve you, and get an attorney then. Bet it never happens.

It's Just Me being hassled for no reason
My husband got a call for my son who is out of town trucking.  We assumed it was to be served court papers and what if we truly believed this and got him to come to town instead of finishing his long-haul, jeopardizing his new job, well you get the message, I consider this harrassment.  And how did they get my husband's phone, he is not even my son's father?  I BELIEVE THIS IS DIRTY POOL.  If a young person can't pay something, it means they can't pay something.  Don't give them high credit limits which are tempting, then expect payments when life happens:  substance abuse recovery, job loss, family needs.  You name it.  Shame on any company using these tactics!!!!!

Rockwell Ass. called Wednesday 11/24/10, day before Thanksgiving.  Same MO, David Jones left a message with my husband, said he was a process server... I called back, didn't tell them who I was, but asked why they were calling my phone.  They even called my fil, who is 80+ and not in the best of health!  Mr. Romo told me that they didn't make outbound calls and so I said it was obvious a mistake, and hung up.  When Mr. Romo called back, I nailed him, asked him if his office didn't make outbound calls how was it he called me back??  Romo also told me that there was no David Jones employed by them.  Told them if they did process serving, they were very poor at their job because all they had to do was to find the individual they were looking for driver's license registration and/or license plate number, which anyone who works for an attorney and/or detective agency can access....  Told them I was contacting the Texas State Attorney General's Office regarding their harrassment.  Mr. Romo said they had the right to call me once a day, but I received 2 phone calls that day (BUSTED) and since I gave them the wrong case number, and they asked if I knew this other individual so much for that guy's right to privacy.   My advice:  Call the Texas State Attorney General's Office and/or file a complaint online.  Perhaps if they get enough of complaints, these guys will get the message.

If you get a call from avid Jones this is a fake name and when you call the 877 number you are calling right back into them and you will get a Jason Romo, Justin Harris, Lisa Dixon, John Amos or Travis Porter they will threaten that they are suing you for your debt when in all actuality this is a scare tactic! when I called in Justin Harris admitted to me he was really Steve Smith and that the interest on my debt was ridiculous! they answered "corporate offices" but when i asked corporate offices of what he said Rockwell offices! When called in to have a scheduled time for the documents to be served i heard "David Jones" calling out in the background! So it is all obviously the same office

They've been calling my parents house asking for me by my maiden name.  Each time they've given this call back number but different "case numbers".  They've told my mom that they would make 2 more attempts to reach me and that if I didn't respond that I'd have a failure to appear in court on my record.  If this is a legitimate company, why not just reach me at my own number which is listed or my own residence which is listed in my name.  Obviously, if they were truly trying to serve me with a subpoena, they could simply contact local authorities to do so.

#1 this company claims to be a litigation office......NOT SO.....they ARE debt collectors (illegally)
#2 there is NO David Jones that works for them because this is a fictitious or stage name that they use
#3 there is no Jason Romo, Justin Harris, John Amos, Lisa Dixon or Travis Porter in their office either, as they are ALL fictitious names!
This is there MO: They buy debts from Banks and creditors for pennies on the dollar!
They have two positions in their office, a dialer and a closer. The dialer calls out to you( the debtor), says they work for a process service division and threatens that a sheriff or constable depending on where u live is coming to your job or home to serve you with a summons to appear in court or sealed legal documents. However if you agree to call in to the "issuing agency" of those documents and schedule a time to have them served or picked up it will be easier on you and then they give you the 877-713-4370 number along with your "case number."  Then when you call the "issuing agency" of those documents, you are actually calling back into them and that is when a closer takes the call and claims they are an associate of this legal office assigned to your "case" when they are really assigned to your debt! they collect on anything even debt that is past the statue of limitations They prey on anyone especially elderly who are on social security and threaten them that their social security check will be garnished.....which is illegal! They threaten that you are being sued which you are not going to be sued this is one of their lousy scare tactics! DO NOT AGREE TO PAY THESE PEOPLE THEY GET ABOUT 50% OF THE DEBT IN THEIR OFFICE THAT YOU ARE ALLEGEDLY SETTLING OUT OF COURT AND THE REST GOES TO THEIR OWNER OF THE COMPANY! They buy these debts for pennies on the dollar! And if your debt is 7 yrs older or more its against statue of limitations to collect from you!
Now here are the true identities of the “litigation office associates!”
Jason Romo is really Edward Palaco the “Director of the litigation office”
Justin Harris is really Steve Smith
John Amos is really Brad Miller

most of the positive replies about this company on here is really the director placing the comments under a fake name! I repeat, "DO NOT FALL FOR THIS COMPANIES SCAM"
I worked for them at one point and quit because my morals and values are above that!

My inlaws in oregon got a call from this same number and the person was Sharon Hall.  She only said she was a process ervice and my husband who happen to be visiting the state - asked her from what company - she said private...She said there was a "failure to appear" and something about the Sherriffs office.  When he asked in what state she refused to answer.  he pointed out they were calling elderly people in oregon and my daughter did not even live in that state.  This woman was not interested in getting my daughters address or phone number or anything - all she kept saying was my daughter had to call them.  I am a professional Collection Manager and what this company is doing is against the law.  If thsi is actual - they could figure out where my daughter is by running her drivers license and they could actually have asked my husband for her address which they were not interested in at all.  Dor a company that wants to collect a debt you would think they would want at least an address.

Please tell these people to stop.  they use scare tactics and it must be some type of scam.  they say a sheriff is coming to serve you and has already come once, if you are not there a second time, there will be failure to appear.

My sister got the same call today. John Amos said he was from the sheriff's dept and they were scheduled to come out today and serve court papers. He then asked if her husband was available to receive the papers. My sister was so worried about this that she had her husband call back after he got home from work and did find out it was a collection agency(Rockwell Associates). He said the debt was from 2002 for $2100 and he could cut him a deal of $1001 if he agreed to pay now. He basically said the debt is unfounded and if it was good luck trying to collect and hung up. The statue of limitation in Penna. is 4 years. Glad he didn't agree to anything. Never agree to anything!!

Shut these scumbags down and NEVER pay them a dime. Call the FTC and report them as well as the the Corona Cahmber of Commerce. Make as many phone calls as you can and give the real names. It is illegal to use false names when collecting a debt.

thank you so much for all this information, these people called my job today and they states they are from the sheriff dep, and they want to issue a summon, so my job called me and they give me the name and the case number 18777134371. called back thinking i will be talking to a sheriff, then a person asked for my case number, gave him the case and transferred me to Mr John Amos who is Brad Miller according to one of the post I read here, them Mr Miller told me that I have a case against me in court through citibank and it is $1300 the original and now its 5781 after all late fees and court fees...that was  a credit card when i used to live in NY and I was goiing through some difficult time...Mr Amos was nice overall on the phone and he wants to take off all the late fees and court fees...he states that he will email and mail me all the documents needed...after I read all these posts online I was skeptical, and I called again. Mr Amos assured me this is a ligit company, but on the flip side there are many elements that made me suspicious about the company and their picth.
1 they called my job and acted like they are from the sheriff department and they need to issue me a summon, and then it turns up that they only a collection agency.
2 Mr Amos states that they can stop the court process and put it into pending if I agree to pay $1500
3 when asked about website, he states they dont have one.
when I called again to aks him for the case number at the court, he states that he doesnt have it because it is an internal stuff, and when i insisted he states that They didnt yet file it in court, so now the story changed, before they want to give me a summon and now they didnt file it yet.
it is clear that they used the word sheriff or police dep. depend on where you live and they want to issue a summon...it is a trick and part of the picth that you will call them immediately to see whats going on, and at that moment they start pulling the game on you...I will get a lawyer to see how this case can be taken care of.

I agree with you... I don't agree with the tactics they use... I owe the debt and am trying to negotiate a payment arrangement.  My lawyer advised me that if I owe the debt to pay the debt.

    is upset
I worked there for a very short time and since I left it has been over a month. I have yet to get a paycheck from when I worked there or my final check after I left. I tried getting a hold of my manager but I go nothing.

I do not agree with the methods they use and after a short time decided that is was not for me. I can not lie to people about what I do and who I am. Why not just tell people it is a collection agency and be done with it.

It seemed a little strange to me that David Jones was not allowed to take payments or negotiate a settlement but the person a client called back could.

I just wonder how many deals were taken away from me when I was onl lunch or after I left for the day. There was a rules that they could determine if you would get paid on a deal or not and give it to someone else. wtf!
