I  just got a call from these same people saying I owe money to JCP from 2001 any that the sherriff is looking to arrest me!!! I looked on google to see if this was real and I'm glad you guys posted these comments cause they almost got me!!! thanks google and friend yessss

Called looking for sister....threatened with warrant for arrest if she did not call within an hour.   Naturally, I checked for this company and the phone number and got the info on this scam.  I can't wait till they call again!  I plan to give them the info on federal website reporting these scams.

I rec'd call from this number last month with the same  thing about owing a debt and being served summons. It's total scam! And i filed complaints against them and now they're calling from 877-689-5138 saying same things! BEWWARE!!!!

My husband got the same call. He did not know and asked them to send papers verifying what he owed. They sent a letter saying he owed $4,022.03 and that they would settle out of court for $983.00. I called the number that was stated on the papers (877-715-7558). A women named Nichole Evans then called me back after I initially got no answer. She then gave me information about my husband without first verifying who I was.. Do not give them any account information!! My husband was willing to pay to avoid legal action. I told him to wait until we figure out what was owed.  I thought this was a scam thankfully I did some research online about this company. Thank you for all posting!

They called my mothers husband threatening me with a summons from the sheriffs department if I did not call them. Once I called and they told me it was about an old credit card I told them I would be calling my lawyer because they were using scare tactics to get in touch with people...hmmm I wonder when I will get my summons :P

Received a call from a random number in new york they gave me this phone numberto call. I called and they basically had already placed a judgment on my records, they sent me no notification pertaining to this and its completely unlawful. I contacted an attorney and there wasn't much they can do becuase the judgment had already been granted.

We received the same type of call and we reported them to Verizon since they stated they were collecting on belief of Verizon and the Sheriff's dept.  

You need to file a complaint with the District Attorney's office, 1-800-771-7755 is NY's.  The more complaints filed the faster they will caught.  In the meantime you can block the caLLS AT 1-888-382-1222.  You can also file a complaint with the Sheriff's dept., once you have that number, call your phone company and file an unlawful call complaint  Verizon's Unlawful dept number is 1-800-257-2969.  They called the wrong person.  We will catch you.

they are a scam. i have researched the company. They are called PH Associates and they will tell you that you owe an old debt and they are attempting to collect on it. they will say that if you don't pay they will commence court proceedings. they will know all if not most of your personal info including social. be careful . they almost got me until i researched the company.

Arnold Smith from DS Services in North Carolina told me there was a legal complaint against me and he could only hold my file for one hour. He gave me a ref# DTR1432 and told me to call 877-285-4796. He hung up on me when I asked him why doesn't he come to my house.  

i got a call from 828-919-6798 from a brenda something saying theres a legal complaint against me from SCarolina and gave me a DTR4632 ref number and to call 877-285-4796. she said she was with some law firm call PH associate. i told her to get a a real job and hung up.
