I got a call from them, and they DID leave a message confirmation that my DSL modem is on the way, and giving me set-up instructions, plus they did confirm the call-back number - nice!  The only problem is, I didn't order service from them.  I can't.  It's not available in my area.  I believe I gave them my phone # a few weeks ago, as I signed up to "be notified when service is available in my area," since we're trying to change cable TV providers.  Never gave them a credit card or any other authorization to start service, so for now I'm just going to wait to see if anything shows up in the mail. They are clearly quite confused.

I cannot understand people who get the same unwanted caller on their cell over and over, and COMPLAIN about it !!!  Just save the number in your phone, call it something obvious, like IGNORE01, and set its ring tone to silent.  DUH !!

Calls every two or three weeks, to main house number, never leaves a message. It is definitely an automated dialer. And no, I do not have any pending DSL orders so it's not only ATT

actually it is an at&t number. my husband is also an at&t rep and he has called me from his work and this is the number that shows up.

I'm about to cancel At&T DSL. I got a call as well. But worse, they supposedly clanged my billing date for no apparent reason. My bill is nearly double what it should be because someone decided to just go ahead and change the date my bill is due.

So tomorrow I will have to spend my time trying to figure out there error.

I got a call from this number but didnot pick up...i tried to dial through gmail account,,,its the att number ...

They left me a message today. It is AT&T High speed internet service.

I recently established new DSL service with ATT. BUT....when I answer, no one is there. I wait, and listen, and say hello, many times. If they are trying to reach me with a welcome or other customer service related issue, they are doing a very bad job!!

I just completed a modem restart process with a AT&T DSL tech.  I think this is just a customer satisfaction call.  I had a great experience.

I 'll cancel the DSL service, but dialed this number then I spent time to wait on the line, Why there's no simple way to cancel service?

They have called me numerous times this week despite me telling them not to call 6 times.  I have cancelled service with them that they never set up at my house. Instead, was set up at someone else's home!

Wish I would have known this before! I just signed up for internet with this company. Just got my first call of many to come as it sounds.  Not happy!

With the times we're in with identity theft, to get a call from someone asking information just regardless of who my caller ID says it is just has me hanging up on the idiots. AT&T should know better. Send me a letter. That way I can just throw it away.

My MOM just installed Internet service with AT&T (not me!) and these folks are calling me about her service.  Really weird!!!
