Called in my absence, leaving no message.

Why do these people leave the worst message?

We have yet to pick up, mainly because I have a son and when he sleeps, I sleep. I have never been so upset at these telemarketers to call around 8:00, just as we're trying to get calmed down for bed.

No Message...

I got a call from this number on my cell, (HEY - telemarketers aren't supposed to call your cell!) but they left no message. hmmm . . . this numbers' familiar . . . while googling them, I spotted a paper on my desk I recently took notes on for hooking up a new DSL modem - it's the AT&T DSL helpline number!

This # is from AT&T High Speed Internet Services.  I just called using a LD calling card becuase it showed up on my caller ID at home and I have just changed services with them recently.  Is an okay #. :)

Called and left NO MESSAGe and IF it is ATT and with the NO CALL LAW shouldn't they have to leave a CALLER ID....

I just received a call from this number 877-722-3755 and a message.  it was a recording verifying my new at&t internet service, telling me my new welcome packet was on its way to me.

Confirmed.  These calls are legit - they are automated calls letting you know the status of your order from AT&T - in my case, the DSL I had ordered the day before.

called AT 950 AM AND 105 PM  if i wasnt here to answer the first time why keep calling this is a new number for me i have had this number since july

If it is from at&t, just give the costumer service a call and see if they cant do something about getting the calls to stop.

We are getting the same thing like you are saying above BUT they call us early in the morning around 09:02 AM CDST.

This is ridiculous and this needs to be reported to the United States Attorney Generals Office AND this should be reported to the Attorney General Office in your state ( For Example: Texas, California, etc.... ).

In the past month I have received more than 40 calls on my cell phone from this number (877 722 3755). Sometimes as many as 4 or 5 in a day   At times when I do answer they seem to think I am the help desk

As an att rep, i can assure u that's not one of our numbers. don't answer calls from this number.

My business has been flooded with calls from this number, all automated.  These calls ARE from AT&T, more specifically their high speed DSL department.  This number is listed on our monthly phone bills from AT&T.  We were going to use AT&T for their DSL, but since it took them 3 months to send us the modem, we went with a local company.  

To AJ, the supposed AT&T rep, your company makes all kinds of nuisance calls, whether it is for local phone service, long distance, business, internet, etc.  Your company also always hides behind generic toll free caller ID, and makes you jump through flaming hoops to get the unwanted marketing calls to stop.  Whenever you add service or remove service these calls start.  It took me 8 months to get the calls to stop at home and that was only after I filed AG complaints.  So much for AT&T caring about its customers' privacy choices regarding how they use our information!  Real professional company...not!

I got an email to the same effect.  The phone number you quoted was in the message as a help line.  Called the number, and it did seem to be AT&T, but they knew nothing about the new Internet service the email said I had ordered.

To "AJ": Maria's reply is abolutely correct. "877-722-3755" has been AT&T's phone number for its DSL tech support for past 8 years since I added their internet services to my use of their landline phone services. AT&T generates lots of unsolicited calls to its customers, from various of its many toll-free numbers (including this one), ostensibly to ask if customers are happy with their services; to ask if we're satisfied with recent changes they made to their services (despite NO changes actually having been made!); or, to solicite us to buy more services. I got an automated call from this number just today, despite my order to AT&T 2 months ago to cease such calls. I consider it unethical harassment.

Clearly a telemarketer using AT&T toll free number. The "Do not call list" is a joke!
