Wanted to sell me "Preferred Member" for Wells Fargo credit card.  Unfortunatly, I said yes.  I am going to call Wells Fargo and find out if they have put me on the card or if this is a scam.

Get calls from 877-740-3335 - They never leave a message.
I do screen all calls that have numbers I do not know. I do have caller ID.

Called 6 times in three days.  Said they were with Wells Fargo, were offering gas cards, need to send information.  Called Wells Fargo, said they did not call customers.

called asking for my husband by name.  Said I was his wife could I help, they said no and before I could ask who was calling, they hung up

The numbers 877-740-3334 and 877-740-3335 all belong to the same group.  Quite annoying as the 877-740-3335 called 7 times.  Shame on Wells Fargo if they are giving numbers away.  They are trashing their own reputation!

Called husband's cell 2 nights ago at 10:45pm! and called home phone this am at 9:30 - called back and was able to enter the phone numbers to not have them call again - recording said it would take about 5 days.

I called that number the above person gave to "opt out" of having your information shared and they immediately want you to input your Social Security number.  DO NOT DO THIS!!  This is how scamers get your information.

Call Wells Fargo directly, speak to a real person in the bank, and tell them you want to update your privacy preferences so telemarketers and insurance companies can't call you.

Many times a day.  Sometimes as late as 8:45 PM.  I won't encourge them by picking up the phone.  No message is left.  I am on the do not call list.

I'm also on the do not call list.  I've been receiving calls from this number 3-4 times on certain days, anywhere from the morning to 9pm, for months.  In the past, when I have answered, they are calling on behalf of Wells Fargo.  I do not answer anymore.  I am going to complain to WF and if the calls continue, close my account.  It's not worth the constant harassment.

They wanted my husband and when I asked not to call again, they said would call back.  This is happening repeatedly.

I just called Wells Fargo Bank about this call. It turns out that if you are receiving telemarketing calls for either 3335 or 3336, it is from a third party company that they are using. You probably have a Wells Fargo Bank account and have not opted out as I had not. I was given the following number to opt out of future Wells Fargo offers. 888-528-8460

Calls started again today after numerous complaints to the FTC DNC and received a letter today addressed to my son who they claim is a Valued customer and offering an Ipod if he signs up with AutoVantage Enhanced which is suppossedly Brickell Financial Services Motor Club DBA Road America Motor Club who is a service of Trilegiant Corp which is not affiliated with Wells Fargo (even though this letter is from Wells Fargo VP Michael McDonald but has no Wells Fargo info anywhere on letter)then says AutoVantage is a registered service mark of Affinion Publishing LLC which is another telemarketer who buys peoples info from mailing/broker lists that Wells Fargo Bank provided without the persons knowledge. The BIG kicker here is my son NEVER had a Wells Fargo Bank Account since he just turned 18 he has another bank that he is with. I entered Wells Fargo telemarketing and found court settlements from Wells Fargo being sued by customers who never knew their information was being given to unscrupulous telemarketers until some customers were called with vital bank information to their accounts with Wells Fargo and wanted more info from them. So this unscrupulous business is still going on with Wells Fargo. I just file complaints with the FTC DNC everytime this number calls because it is harassment when they never leave any messages and hang up ,it stops for a few months then calls every once in a while now especailly with the economy now all these SCAMS/SCHEMES from numerous telemarketers are surfacing trying to get unsuspecting people scammed.

After filling a FTC DNC complaint today against this Wells Fargo telemarketer I received a call from a "WELLS FARG O BANK" caller id with a 1-954-926-5987 number which again doesn't leave any messages. These hang up calls are harassment and against the Telemarketing Law TSOC. Wells Fargo Bank has done this before back in 2003 LA Courts found them guilty and had to pay a settlement with customers that they gave their bank info to telemarketers. Very SHADY Bank business going on here.
