I get phone calls from this ph # almost once a day. It is irritating. I have answered in the past and there was no one there. Since we have caller ID - now I just don't answer the phone when this # calls. That doesn't stop them from calling though.

You can call them back at the same number and get your number removed from their list through an automated process.

Thanks, I'm calling the number right now.  It's very annoying.

They call all day long and just hang up.  Even when you request for them to stop calling and that you're not interested, it stops for awhile, and then you're back on the list.

I've been called several times, with no one on the other end.  I called the number back, and got a man who claimed it was his number, but with my local area code.

Thats funny. I spoke with Wells Fargo today and about 20 minutes later I start getting these phone calls. I didnt get them before I spoke with Wells Fargo. Coincidence???? Its all over the internet that Wells Fargo is involved with this....

Calls several time daily.  I have answered and told them I am not interested in thier insurance.  Calls continue....

Calls have been coming in from every day 4 times a day, but never am I able to get a person, the machines are running this office! 877-842-6835 and 800-213-6459 and 877-740-3335 and 877-273-3495 and 866-522-9389 and 888-680-2956 and 800-979-6560 and 866-266-7660 and 866-576-1947 and 877-740-2226 and 866-522-9394 and 800-772-1413 AND I AM TIRED OF IT SO QUIT CALLING, YOUR NUMBERS WILL BE BLOCKED!

They call & don't leave a message.  Once there was laughter but otherwise nothing.

I refuse to answer it; I don't answer toll-free calls, period. If they want to leave a message, fine. If they don't, then it isn 't that important.

I've received 11 calls from this number in the last 3 days and that's not including all the calls over the last month. I answered it once and nobody was saying anything, so now I let it go to my fax and they still keep calling.  I'm getting very tired of it!

Thanks for the info!  Wells Fargo has been calling all the time.  With your information I was able to opt out.  Hopefully the calls will stop.

I started receving calls from this number three days ago. Last night it was at 10PM. I pick up the phone and there is no one at the other end.  Other calls, the answering machine comes on, but there is no message.  I will report it to my phone company and see if they can do something about it.

our son applied for a student loan from Wells Fargo and we started getting these phone calls.  I don't answer unidentified calls

I have been getting repeated calls from 1-877-740-3335 to my new phone number (cable line) of 1 month which I have never provided to anyone outside of my own family (I have another line I use for business calls).  They finally reached me, asked for me By Name, and told me about my account with Wells Fargo.  They said they were sending me a free gas card and wanted to talk to me about insurance.  When I asked how they got this number and what they could tell me about my Wells Fargo account, the woman hung up on me.
I have had a no call/no share/no solicitation restriction on my accounts at Wells Fargo since the late 1990's because of their insurance cross-sales attempts at that time, and I am assured by Wells Fargo customer service that it is still in effect.  So it is definitely a violation of both Wells Fargo's corporate policy and government policy that I received a sales phone call from a company associated with Wells Fargo, at a phone number that I had not even given to Wells Fargo.
