Due to the changing company names this report is not complete but it will give you enough information to file complaints.  The outfit started out stating that they were in Florida but I believe that they are actually in New York.

You will need to send them a certified, return receipt debt validation (by law they have to go back to the original creditor to prove you owe the debt), cease and desist calling, or "not me" letter (this will be the best money that you have ever invested).  Also send it first class mail in case no one will sign for it.  Make a notation of that fact at the bottom of the letter.  You also need to report them to the proper agencies to which I have provided links to.  Then you need to go out and get a consumer lawyer to sue them on a contingency basis (no money out of your pocket) and let them pay you for the harassment.  If everyone did these three things, these crooks would be bankrupt, and we would all be the richer for it.  Use these web sites to find an attorney in your state that will probably take the case on a contingency basis (no money out of your pocket up front):
    http://www.consumeradvocates.org/find-an-atto ... tates_value=All

Everything else you need to know follows including at least two or more federal and state agencies where you should report their criminal activities.

    Mark Daniels from MAC

Website says that they are in Florida: https://mediationac.org/

The address is a virtual office, favorite of criminal organizations pretending to be debt collectors.

The BBB gives them an F rating with 153 complaints (BBB removed 58 complaints for some reason) and 31 negative reviews and alerts as of 3/28/23: https://www.bbb.org/us/fl/pembroke-pines/prof ... r-0633-90432086

BBB also lists a residential address for them: 9751 SW 12th St Pembroke Pines, FL 33025-3654 Which is registered to Thu & Tham Nguyen and may be a rental.

    https://www.google.com/maps/place/9751+SW+12t ... 4!4d-80.2748821

The Florida Dept. of State has no registration on file for either a corporation or a fictitious name. This means that they are operating illegally.

The Florida Dept. of Financial Regulation has nothing on record for the business name or the name listed on the BBB as the manager. This means that they are again operating illegally.

It is incumbent upon them under the law to prove that the debt exists and that you owe it, and (this is the important part) that they have the legal right to collect it.  You are not obligated under the law to prove that you don’t owe or that it is paid.

Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) postmarked within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt. It also must contains “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes.  The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days of receipt of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified. If and when you get that letter you should immediately send that debt validation letter by certified, return receipt mail.

First, you should make a complaint at this Federal Agency, and while there you should also read up on how debt collection is supposed to work as well as what your rights in this matter are: https://www.consumerfinance.gov/

Also file complaints with the FTC: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/#crnt&panel1-1

Also file a complaint with your State Attorney General's office.
List of State AG’s offices:   https://800notes.com/faq/attorney-general

Also file a complaint with the Florida AG’s Office:  http://myfloridalegal.com/

And the Florida Dept. of Financial Regulation:  https://www.flofr.com/sitePages/FileAComplaint.htm

File a complaint at the New York State AG's Office here:  http://www.ag.ny.gov/

I received a call from a different local #(3853830305) but it sounded scammy right off, so I hung up and immediately called back. It rang for while. Once the man answered I said I was returning a call and he knew from my # what it was about. He said it was for my husband about an outstanding debt owed that was going to court if it wasn't paid today. 🚩 He gave me this # for my husband to call back for a settlement.

He called them at x116. The man was able to read off my husband's social, current and prior addresses, and other private info. He did not ask for any identifying information to see if he was even talking to the right person. 🚩 He said it was for a debt from a prior address in 2013, but we didn't even live at that location at that time. He wasn't able to give any further details on the debt. Just that it was $$$ amount. 🚩 Referred to their billing department to work out payments.

    Total scam!!!

My phone number is a Florida number and I live in Nebraska. The call comes from a local Nebraska number and the voicemail states the call is for my brother (asks for him by name) who lives in Colorado. The return number they provide is 877-749-8987. Other calls come from a local number and do not say a name but “it’s very important we speak to you or the listing party”. The number they provide to call back is 866-675-1682.

Very rude, unprofessional.  Mr. Nathan Jones called my son stating that I put him down as a reference on a payday loan in 2015. I didn't take out a payday loan in 2015. I ask for an account number and he refused. He gave me until 5 pm today to pay or the loan would be closed and submitted for judgement. I'm fully aware that I would have to be served and a court date would be set before any judgment could be entered. They can take their scams elsewhere. I wish they'd leave my children alone!!

I wish that people like you would take the time to report them to the proper Federal and State Agencies instead of simply complaining about them.

I wish they would too, but you know they will not, since they would actually have to expend their time and effort to do so, and griping is quicker and easier and lets them (in their own mind) pass the responsibility on to someone/anyone else.  And while you have already done a lot of the preliminary legwork for them and posted that information above, I would bet dollars to doughnuts that Elizabeth never clicked past the first page, so she never got to see it.

Corey, scroll back and read BigA's post.  Threatening prison or jail is a big NO NO for legitimate debt collectors.  Read here about differentiating legitimate from scam debt collectors:
