Thanks to your comments, I canceled an appointment with Sean/Perfect Touch.

I can attest to everything on here, I am a chimney sweep and have had to clean up fires set by these crooks all over the Delaware County and West Chester Area.  They have prayed on both the old and young, even damaged perfected good stainless steel liners.  They will come out for $40 and then try to tell you that you need a new liner for $1500 or more whatever they think they can get.  Very scary sales tactics, they will say we are in your neighborhood...so ask them where?  Then they will start back pedaling.  Their vehicles all have New York license plates because they are from Long Island.  If you fall for their low price you will be sorry.  I responded to 3 calls within 2 days of their Liner estimates.  People were told that the fire marshal would condemn their chimney and they need a liner ASAP.   Their was deterioration but no where near what they were making it out to be.  Please warn your friends and loved ones.

I am totally embarrassed I actually fell for this scam.  I know better, but allowed them into my parent’s home. They Lie.  My parents have actually not had their fireplace cleaned in over 20 years, and they use it regularly.  They "inspected" two flues - the FP chimney and the heater chimney.  Low and behold, they said the FP chimney did NOT need cleaning, BUT the heater chimney needs a new liner for $1,400.  ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? I can't believe I actually allowed this bogus "company" into my parent’s home. Hang up on them. Call the BBB. You were smart enough to GOOGLE them, follow your instinct and do not allow them into your home!  Did I mention, they never did clean the fireplace???

This Corporation is a complete scam, but i got a call today by these crooks and they offered my parents to clean the chimney for $30. I didn't find this reasonable for most local areas cost around $100, so i looked up the number and i found this website, thank god for everyone here they saved my parents much time we would of wasted or even money on this [***] corporation. ALL POSITIVE COMMENTS ARE LEFT BY THEM, ANYONE WHO SAYS ITS OTHER CORPORATIONS THAT ARE JEALOUS IS EITHER A SCAMMER OR AN IDIOT. ALSO THE CALL WAS PRIVATE OR FROM A CELL PHONE NO NUMBER WAS STATED.THEY ARE SCAMMERS, they come waste time don't clean it and say it needs major repairs tell all of your friends and loved ones.

Wow...is all I can say if PTM people made you feel safe....you're a loser with no life. This corporation scams. Their person of interest is elderly widows, they have targeted the young as well. I know this because my mother's name is listed in the phone book instead of my father's. Why steal from elderly? Don't have anything better to do?

Rec'd call 12-20-2011 in Am saying they were doing work in the nieghberhood, would I like my chimney done for $25.00.   I was given 877-786-4611 by "Frank".

Yeah they did the work,but after 24hours the outside chimney looked just as bad if not worse than when they started,called them many times and they promised to come out to fix it,many hours of no shows and the excuses were absolutely laughable...this is not a "company" you want to get involved with..a bunch of cowboys to say the least,how they operate is despicable ..take the money and run is their motto..no scruples,no morals and as for customer service,forget about it..DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE the time of day,if SEAN,ADAM or STEVE should phone you,tell them where to go is our advice..you have been warned!!

Cannot say one good thing about this "company" they all work from a script because they don't have two brain cells between them,they are bullishitters and liars and they need shutting down,how they've been able to keep going this long baffles me...steer clear of them and report them if you see them in your area or make sure you do a thorough back ground check..you will thank me for this advice,trust me you will!

Even though my husband was home I was not comfortable with them in my home. Especially since I didn't look into the company until just before they arrived and wow now I definitly and not comfortable. They gave me a bull---- excuse that they needed to make another appt. because there was more work than they expected. So I got lucky and you can bet I will not be scheduling another appt. with PTM. In the future I will not be so trusting and will always check out the company before they get to my home.

We got a call from these bozos the other day offering to only charge $40 for a cleaning and if they were here even a MINUTE past one o'clock they would knock the price down to $30. I live with my grandmother and she did tell them they could come out on Saturday, but they never showed. She was just telling me about it and said she wasn't going to allow them because of a bad feeling she had and so I searched their company name and found this site. Thank goodness!

I'm amused at how awful the people are at spelling and grammar that are sticking up for this "company." If you are going to try and pretend to be different people at least switch up your typing techniques.

Just had my home done as well.  Price was very reasonable for the cleaning, and the men who did it were professional.  I would recommend them.  I can understand a few problems with a company, but My guess is that these are competitors as well.  They gave me their phone number 877 786 4611, website is www.ptminfo.com, also had the marketing on the truck that said perfect touch.   I checked them out based on the invoice and the old website they had expired.  I called them and they gave me the new one.  I was nervous based on comments made here, but I see what's goinig on now...  they're traveling into the area and the local guys don't enjoy that much...
