These people keep calling about a debt that has nothing to do with me.
They have been asked to stop and then told to stop. They informed me they can continue to call. Something needs to be done about this company.

This company calls me anywhere from once in 5 days to 2 times a day.  It's been going on for at least a year, and I haven't answered one time.  I did change my voicemail message telling them to quit calling me (once they left a message addressed to Samantha, who they think I am or think that I know, which I don't), but they still call.  Sometimes the messages sound like I called them, and they'll start in the middle of someone speaking, asking me if I "want to continue holding, press 1."  Most of the time they just say "763-747-9049. Again, the toll-free number is 763-746-9049," and that's it. They have NEVER said why they have called me. Sometimes they give a name.  This is another number from the same company.

UH! I am so tired of this. This guy keeps calling for some girl named Latisha, and everytime I tel him she dosen't live here. But instead of saying sorry he tells me I have a nice voice and hangs up. Im getting very creeped out.

They called but have not left a message. I figure that if they leave a message then I will call them.  Even if it is a collection agency, they have probably run names to find a person who isn't the person they have called to see if that person is related to person with the bad debt. More often than not, they are fishing for the person or any one who is afraid to pay the debt.

I have been getting 1-877-796-2497 calling me on my cell phone day and night won't leave me alone... Tonight was the first time picking up and they asked for someone that i don't even know... then she proces to ask how long have i had this phone and i told her for about 5 years... She went okay, but you are lying to me, lol... What an [***]... She didn't tell me who she was or why she was calling...

then this number keeps calling me too, 866-724-4384, I had my boyfriend pick it up and no one awnsered his hello, so he hung up, but they also call me everyday... Do these ppl not have lifes... lol....

just got this call today.  No message so I have no idea as to who it might be.

I receive calls from this number about 3 times a day.  I do not answer it.

Yeah I keep getting calls like this and they are asking for someone I don't even know, same deal, they won't stop calling three times a day so I took action. I got a box from privacycorps.com and this thing you can set so any number or even area code never rings when they call. It was $99 but worth it, got two other places calling for a Mike something and a Tanisha, no idea who they are but the last time their calls woke me up was the last time. Now they still call but it never rings the phone and there's nothing they can do to ever get anything but a ring going nowhere.

Left no message so I don't know who they are.

Yea, I've been getting calls from it too on my brand new phone. At first, I'd get calls with a Southern California Area Code leaving voicemails narrating this number. Then, I'd just get calls from it directly. I've put it on my reject list, so it's rejected as son as they call.

I got this message Pinnacle finance plz give call......... How they would track me down at my Sisters house and leave a message to call. I never gave out my sisters # to anyone ? did they use cell phone records ? to seek me or are they spying on people with detectives services ? I got no money!

We too have been receiving the annoying calls. If you can actually speak to someone, try and get the business name, address, and a fax number. Once you receive that information, send them a cease and desist letter via fax or certified mail. If you fax, keep you transmission copy or the successful send as well as your original dated letter. if you continue to receive calls, you have them! Press charges from that point for violating Federal Law (FCRA).

constant calls from 877-796-2497. I called them and received a big attitude. They would not tell me the business address but did say they are Pinnical finacial in Minnesota.Very rude harrassing phone calls that wont stop.

Call and never leave a message.

they are not telemarketers so you cant be removed by asking to be put on a do not call list, they can be rude because thy dont want your business, they are a collection agency doing their job, though they may do it rude and obnoxiously, they can call as much as you want, you can try and convince them otherwise or send a certified letter asking to be left alone or send a fax like said in the other posts, good luck

I've been receiving these calls more frequently and they usually call back within 5 minutes of the last call.  When I answer there is no one there.  I just read about this site in the paper and am glad to have read your comments.  I do not have any past due debts so they have no business contacting me.  I will now block the phone number.  You can call your phone company provider and find out how to block calls on all phones that way they can't bother us anymore.

                        I just got this call.----- I live with Mother and Dad and both were gone. It is my Dad' and Mother's phone. My Mother has her greeting message on the answering machine. She is 79 and leaves a SWEET receiving message on it for them to hear when the answering machine takes over after 4 rings.---Anyway, I was here when the called came at about 4:00 PM. I looked at the phone. My caller ID showed 877-796-2497. When I saw the 877 , I knew it was something I should NOT answer so I let the answering machine take the call. A message was left. The message did say it was for my Mother as they spoke her name. They did not say who it was. It was a Ladies voice. So, they said for her to call back.----They gave a reference number for her to mention to them when she called back to them they said something like this  " when you call us , give us this reference number 37293648 ."-----------when my Mother walked in I took their phone number , went to our computer, put in 877-796-2497  at the URL  > 800.com . (here where I am now). I looked at your posts and saw that it indeed was a collection agency. She didn't call back.---due to this FINE web site we know who it was.-----------------------Donald

I get calls all the time,  at odd hours,  from this number,  they will not tell me anything except the name Pinnical Financial.

2 calls stating all operations are busy.  Do not answer this call!!

I got a new cell phone as an economical alternative to my very elderly mother's Lifeline and whoever had the number before us is being pursued by these people and other collectors.  I tried calling them back right after they woke my mom up for the fourth time and they are closed and a recording says to call the number you have just called!  Insane.  Checked out their web site and found a fax number (952-996-0655) and sent fax letter asking them to stop calling with explanation.  We got this number in January or early Feb 2008 and once we figured out collection agencies were calling for the previous owner of this number, we put on a voice message explaining the situation, they still continued to call and woke her up.  My mom is 93 years old and is usually in bed by 8 p.m. when they called.  Hope this stops them and that the fax number might be helpful to someone else in serving written notice.
