Offring vacation to Universal Studios. Ask for money. More than 300$. Reported to my credit card company.

To add supp. infos about the call. Calls were from 1-912-265-4052. They tried twice to reach. On Google Earth, 3365 Cypress Mill Road, Suite 2, Bruswick, Georgia, is quite a "cambuse".

Hey there arn't fraud!!! I just got my 10 day vacation!! WOOHOO!!! Florida & the Bahamas here I come!!!

Hi, it happened to me too. A few weeks ago I received an email offering good deals and I filled out a form for a vacation in Florida an a few days later I received this call. They knew my name, date of birth, e-mail address, so i thought what the heck, they must be ok..They sai that I winn a 2000$ package in Florida, dyton beach and Bahamas and to pay 500$ for this 2000$ package. Which I did (so naive!) but than I checked the name on the intrnet and I found more people accusing this fraud. There is anyone else who had to deal with them???

The fraud with Universal Adventure is that your accomadation is with 2 resorts: Calypso Cay vacation resort located in Kissimmee Florida and another one in Bahamas that are reported as fraudulous. Mnu turists have been charged with fees of thousands of $ on their credit cards, after they left the resorts...It is obvious that we deal with a chain of scams...Be aware.

scary people out there really make me laugh! us canadians are suppose to be smart! come on guys! dont make the americans think this about us. i cant wait to take my package. michelle my sister took a package a few years back and said florida was a blast!

Un petit effrayé, mais a fait d'abord recieve tous mes documents. cette entreprise a payé la note sur ma fin exactement. j'ai appelé même mon entreprise de carte de crédit (le visa de td) et ils disent que tout est bien. attend avec impatience partir.

C'est bizzare, mais ton francais sucks....Est-tu certain un client ou un agent???

Hi, If you you make a search on the internet with UNIVERSAL ADVENTURE USA FRAUD you will find that they are well known as a deceptive company. Here it is what I found about them on Oprah's website: "CONSUMERS BEWARE OF PHONE FRAUD & SCAMS ... But let me warn you DO NOT purchase any 'vacation deal' to Universal Studios with UNIVERSAL ADVENTURE USA ..."
Conclusion: do not believe the "positive comments" about Universal Adventure USA, they are no clients but advertisors or people working for Universal Adventure USA who have written these messages...They also wrote a lot of positive messages on others websites (yedda, yahoo, wiki etc), hoping to full more people...The company is already investigated by phonebusters, so don't believe anything they say!!!!

oh yeah, then tell me why i got my everything they said that they would send me?? tell me why my online acount works?? tell me why everytime i call them they answer?? .....

Hello I can say I haev taken a vacation with them to Orlando and It was just as they told me. Now I am going to Daytona Beach and everything is just fine... I have never had a problem and refer this company to all my friends and relatives. In fact my friend s are going on vacation in September and they cant be happier.

J'avais beau leur dire que je ne comprenais pas très bien ce qu'il me racontait.... (Trop polie pour raccrocher épaisse!!)Mais c'est quand j'ai compris qu'est-ce qu'il en était,... la fille m'a répondu.. qu'il était trop tard!!! qu'elle sa job c'était juste de me donner un numéro de confirmation!! Et elle m'a tout réexpliquer!!  

Qu'est-ce que je peux faire? Puis-je faire reconnaître mes droits en tant que consommateurs ? Leur envoyez des lettres enregistrées à eux ainsi peut-être aux autorités de cet état?

Je suposse qu tu esau Quebec, alors, le premier pas est d'appeller l'Office de la protection du consommateur Qc(ils vont te dire te canceler avec Universal Adventure et d'appeler ta compagnie de carte de credit). Ensuite tu vas appeler la compagnie de carte de credit et tu va les dire que c'etait un appel NON SOLLICITE (tres important) et que tu as aussi parle avant avec l'Office de la protection du consommateur (dans ce cas la compagnie de cartes de credit doit resoudre ton probleme, ils sont obliges par la lor). Ensuite tu raconte ton histoire. Ils savent deja de ce qu'il s'agit, c'est une arnaque de telmarketing. Ensuite, normalement, en 24 heures un agent de securite va t'appeler et il va te confirmer que la carte a ete annullee et que tu sera remboursee. C'est la compagnie de cartes de credit qui le fait. Ensuite ils vont commencer des demarches legales contre universal Adventure usa mais cela n'est plus ton probleme...Avant tout commencer tu devrais ecrire un courriel a universal Adventure usa pour les dire que tu veux canceler le tout. ils vont te reponre (ou ils vont t'appeler) que cela n'est pas possible parce que tu as ete d'accord avec l'achat. Cela est unmensonge, tu ne doit pas t'en faire avec ca. ils vont te faire ecouter un enregistrement avec toi confirmant le no de carte et ils vont te dire que la compagnie de cartes de credit a ecoute cet enregistremenet et que tout et donc bel et bien corect...mais ca c'est une autre mensonge. Quand j'ai parle avec le responsable de securite de ma compagnie de cartes de credit, il a infirme avoir recu ou entendu un tel enregistrement, ensuite il m'a dit que cette compagnie, Universal adventure nu voulait que faire de la pression sur moi pour qu je n'aieplus loin...Alors, peux importe ce qu Universal Adventure va te dire ne doit pas les croire, ils vont utiliser toute sorte de techniques pour te convaincre renoncer a canceler, mais il ne faut pas les ecouter et surtout les croire...

I was called as well and stupidly fell for it.
I entered my name online for it and called me.
I totally forgot about it until I received the call.
They were so convincing and I was genuienly excited. I knew that I would have to get a flight to Florida but I had been planning on going soon regardless.
None the less, upon telling my boyfriend he googled it and to my surprise there were numerous reports of it being a scam. I even tried to 411.ca the people on the site who made comments about their holidays and they did not exist. (ie. P, Aucoin in Abbotsford, BC)
So I immediately called my credit card company and they are going to deal with it although the transaction has yet to go through. I've been playing phone tag with Universal Adventures all day and getting the run around "Our corporate offices are closed....the wait time to speak with a manager is 45-60 minutes"
If they continue it's no loss to me because my credit card company will just recover the money...I hope! *haha*

J'ai besoin d'aide. J'ai aussi été poisson. Je me suis fait avoir. Avant de donner mon numéro, je lui ai demandé si c'était remboursable et elle m'a dit oui. Moi l'épaisse je l'ai cru. Et bien sure , l'enregistrement qu'ils ont a seulement le bout que eux me disent TRES TRES vite que j'ai même pas compris que ce ne l'était pas. J'ai appeler VISA et ils m'ont dit qu'il ne pouvait pas rien faire et ensuite à l'office de la protection du consommateur et ils m'on dit d'envoyer une lettre enregistré à visa et Universal demandant à VISA de reverser les frais. Je peux seulement me déffendre dans ma lettre si le contrat que j'ai reçu par couriel manque des éléments exigé par la lois. Universal sont pas fou. Le contrat est complet. Et en plus, ce procésus pourrait prendre un à deux mois. c'est quoi qu'il faut que je disent pour me faire entendre. Il n'y a rien à faire pour Universal. Il m'on voller et ne veulent rien faire. J'ai tout fait. Est-ce que quelqu'un pourrait m'aider.
