It's not a scam like I said before. They do not have your CC number; it's a guess. The rep asks you if you're an active member in good standings with Visa, then you may reply yes or no. If you say no, then they say it must be your MC. Don't answer. They don't have your CC number; they give you a spiel, then put you over to the shipping dept. And yes, they do ask for your CC number, but you don't have to give it to them. You know if you give it to them, you're authorizing it to be charged. My best advice is know what you're buying before you purchase it. Go through your own travel agency or through Universal yourself. Yes, there are hidden fees; nothing is ever free. You're responsible for hotel taxes, meals, your boat ride from Florida to the Bahamas, and rental car everything else. It's exactly what they tell you; just listen before you get too excited. You might figure something out before you purchase. If you don't want the phone call, cut them off or wait until after you get past the price and tell them you're not interested personally, and you won't be called ever again.
