I got a call from this ph# claiming it's medial alert svc and the girl passed me to some guy and then he promptly up when I asked him how did they get my personal infi ..........including......... my credit card info........I called at least 10 times and got some .............assine.......... garbage stating: the caall is very import to us and please sta on th eline and someone would be with me.........of course , they hung up

This is not a telemarketer. This is a company who is contracted with your Medicare advantage plan to try & help you take care of yourself better so you feel your best. They do not & would not ever have your credit card information, there is no need or reason for them to have it.

It's still unwanted call. Plus why would they call from a  different number?

Caller CLAIMING IT'S A MEDICAL ALERT SERVICE. If they don't get a live voice, they continue to call several times a day, but do not leave a vm.  Caller type probably SCAM, however that is not a choice below so I chose telemarketer.

Caller CLAIMING TO BE WELL-CARE. Convinced my retired mother to give them personal info. Then, when my mother was confused she asked for the number I could call back and they gave her 877-809-9470. It does have Well-Care on the recording and if you follow the menu you will reach a fool who has a hard time with numbers. After the 4th or 5th time the woman had a hard time pulling up my mothers info because I "was saying the numbers too fast" (not!) I asked her, "Are you sure you are WELL-CARE???!!" and then she hung up on me. NOW THERE IS A FLAG!  I immediately called the Well-Care 800#. They didn't seem to have a hard time pulling up her account. They said that is not one of there phone numbers and that they have had complaints concerning that number. They also said NOT to give any personal information but my mother already did so then I had to take more time to file a FRAUD REPORT!! Apparently, there are LOSERS who try to scam Px drugs using your Px drug info!!

Sorry, but this is a medical alert system scam that has nothing at all to do with Medicare or any supplemental insurance company.  They will try to tell you that someone has paid for (or you are eligible for) a medical alert system "like in the 'I've fallen and I can't get up' advertisements".  What they won't tell you is that there is an outrageous monthly monitoring fee if you take their offer.

My mate received this number on his cell phone , and the caller left no message. We nevered to bother to call back, since so many scammers try calling for your personal information.

This number has called many times. I got a person name Jazmine, She said she is with Well care Heath management company. I explained to her  what I needed she said just a minute and a few seconds later she hung up on me. No Explanation, just dial tone. A few weeks later, now they are back at it again..

This same Number has called several times before,she claims she is from Wellcare ,but I know for a fact that it would have been on my caller ID I told her that I think it is a scam she hung up.

It is 9-26-2014  I just got a call from 877-809-9470 and they said they were from Wellcare and they set up an appointment to come to my home next Tuesday.  I gave them no personal information due to all the scams going on.  They gave me an ID # for the appointment and another number I could call 866-907-9594.  After we hung up I called the customer service number on my Wellcare book (which is different from the number they gave me) and talked to someone who assists people choosing plans and I gave them the appointment ID # that the initial caller gave me for my Tuesday appointment.  The lady I called at Wellcare confirmed that I do have an appointment with that ID#, so I guess it is legit.  I did tell the woman that they need a better system with all the scams out there.  

Just a follow up to my initial post.  LOL  The person never showed up.  No show.  No call.

Just got this call on my cell. I did not answer and they did not leave a  message.

This is the open enrollment period for Medicare participants to renew or change supplemental programs. Senior citizens beware. No legit health care company will cold call you or solicit door to door. This is an outright scam. And even if you do recognize the caller as someone you deal with, you should hang up and call back on the company's public number.

I have received many calls from this number, as soon as I pick up there is a disconnect.  Have never spoken to anyone, just continue to receive annoying call.  This AM i tried returning the call, Caller Unavailable??
How does one stop these calls from coming through?

They will just keep calling from different numbers!  I have 5 numbers blocked on my phone already that they have called me from and now this one!  Just don't answer because once you do they will never leave you alone!!

got call from 877-809-9470,just a moment ago, it rang 2 times  and then they hung up. Because of all the scams and telemarketers going on I know longer ans. a #  I don't recognize . I have on a few occassions made the mistake to ans. & got similar info. re I  was going to get a medical alert free because my Dr. had recommended it. I see my Dr. frequently and he has never suggested to me that I needed one of these medical alerts. What made me know it was a scam is because they told me it was already paid for and that I would get a 3k card for grocery and all they needed was to confirm my shipping address. I told them I wasn't interested  and hung up so now thay call from various #s. Never leave a message .

Always getting calls from this #. Never answer and they never leave a message. They are like an annoying insect.

Today they called and I was stronger woman answered and said that from the Well Care,I say teht they do not have that number and she immediately hung up.

This company claims to "represent" Wellcare but cannot answer my basic questions about the company BIG RED FLAG!!!
