but is WellCare Insurance Part D coverage for Medicare Supplement Insurance if you signed up for that option.   T on Part-D 'Prescription Drug Coverage' on Medicare as a supplement they call you if you agreed to them to do so when you originally signed up for their coverage, you can call them back and request them to remove you from their update & reminders list at anytime and they will do so...

This number is not contracted by Medicare to help me with the services my insurance provides.  It is a scam.  Numerous scams calling from numerous numbers.  They use Robo callers so the number comes in with a different number each time they call.  They sound legit but they are not.  I got one the other day from a 404 area code and when I asked why it wasn't from an 800 number, they told me to call my insurer, give them a code which was letters, I did.  My insurance company didn't know who they were.  I've since been receiving at least 6 of these calls a day telling me to call them back and give them numeric codes, usually 6 or 7 numbers.  DON'T GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION.  When I dialed back the 404 number it was connected to Energy Direct, which left no way to leave a message.  My insurance company doesn't make those kinds of offers.  These people are preying on people on Medicare or who have Medicare Advantage Plans.  This is a SCAM.  866-858-6912 is one of their alternate numbers.

caller stated they were Wellcare, and started asking for personnel information.  Did not give any and hung up.  caller the number back, and got a recording stating that the number had been disconnected and was no longer in service.  found the number for wellcare and called it.  they did not know why anyone would have called.  All  I can say is be carefull.  they can  fake phone numbers.

A very nice sounding articulate lady talking way too fast called today saying she was from WELLCARE. She asked for the person here who has Wellcare, gave a reference number and asked for him to call back. Now why do I think he shouldn’t call back? Why do I think I shouldn’t even answer my landline anymore and only use it to call out or for 911 if necessary? Just because she sounded totally legitimate doesn’t mean a thing anymore. It still stinks of a scam and if there are any questions about your medical care you call your provider directly, people!

NEW TRICK: called on a Sat am before 9 a.m my time and from a private number. Gave her no info of course (private number, 9 a.m. Sat?) even though she sounds COMPLETELY professional. Look for the facts over the facade. She gave me call back number of 1 866 907 9594. Said I should call back if interested in extra coverage yada yada. Looked it up. It's this.
One sure fire way to tell an ONLINE SCAM: if even ONE word is misspelled on legal sounding fine print...enormous red flag. Stop typing, call company. If two misspellings, forget the whole thing. If they aren't after your money they're after your info to get your money. TRASH 'em.

I forgot to mention, when I told her I would call she gave me a bunch of lies like, "Wellcare is open Mon-Sun 8a.m.-8p.m... "Oh! that "her", telemarketer's reference # is CSP15. She was hoping if she sounded informative enough I would speak to her. She even sounded annoyed I would question her intent. They can be good. Be better. Always call real company if you feel at all uneasy! trust yourself. You can give it out but you can't take it back. Have a nice day :)

IF they are indeed from Well Care they can MAIL me their information, I don't know about others bet Well Care didn't even mail out a list of doctors for next year, This year they REALLY screwed things up, After being on hold and transferred someone from Well Care finally told me that the 800 number on the card  for customer service is for Georgia, Lot of good that does me because I live in Florida.

People from Well Care have been super pesty and call WAY TOO MUCH !!!

They just called, It didn't go through because I blocked it in October, I don't trust them.
