- DomOK the Scoop... this is "Renaissance Power Supply" they are sneaky and are a "supplier" of electrical power... BUT they are DIRTY in how they go about their business. I am in the middle of switching homes (sold old, bought new with gap in between) and my electric company does not service the new location. They DID NOT identify themselves as MY EXISTING ELECTRIC COMPANY, only that I needed to speak to someone about a reduced rate and proceeded to get me to divulge some information... when I realized it was not about my final bill I was APPALLED they'd be so so sneaky and underhanded.
I AM calling electric company, then local authorities next, but I am sure they can do nothing to help me.- Caller: Renaissance Electric
- Call type: Scam suspicion
- Sos replies to SamSame. Gary saying immediate action necessary. Ice never had Nation Grid. Scammers
- MikeGary calling about "a recent notice about your national grid account" asking for an immediate call back with a "recent" statement.
Do alternate energy suppliers have an exception to the DNC list, or are they breaking the law in addition to being misleading?- Caller: customerservice

- Mike Leominster MASimilar to door to door campaign a year or so ago. They take info from your NG statement and use it to switch to a new electric supplier. After you realize it, it is very difficult to switch back or cancel their service. Claim is that your rate will be reduced but actual savings if any is in the low 10s of dollars a year. Not specifically a scam but certainly underhanded tactics.
- Caller: Implies National Grid
- Call type: Unwanted
