Received an Unknown Call from AllState???

who are these people

I did too. They are listed under a fraud company by the FTC don't give them any info they will wipe you clean!!

I got a call pertaining to a "supposed" fraudulent check recently that they were pressing charges on me for. I did the research online, Allstate Litigation doesn't exist.There have been litigations against Allstate. But there is no such company. The info online also says other people have been getting calls from the phone number associated with this company, and the results come back as an IRS tax refund scam. my family & friends are getting calls as well from this company in refrence to me. The Federal Trade Commision said to let the company know not to call anymore and if they keep calling in refrence to someone else, tell them you don't know the person, then hang up.

Got a call stating that they had a summons for me and that I needed to call 8778125814 to resolve the matter asap or they would need to serve me?????????

this company is fraud, report all call to the BBB, or file a police report, is was not for me don't trust i think they are getting name of people who may have rented something.

i got a call say about a fradulant check als an that i need to call them so they call send a summond to me about this matter

i recieved the same call from a courtney miles.. the info she had was legit though thats why i went ahead and gave my info.. but after i got off the phone i did get a bad feeling so i googled and thank GOD i saw all this before anything was ever taken out of my account. she said the same thing that someone would be summonings me at my job that if i dont pay then they would arrest me.

Got a call from Bryan at 8778125814, Had old info on a furniture rental and wanted $ but could not e-mail me with any info. I am sure it is a scam.

A woman left a message on my machine saying she was Terry Johnson from the state - a process server.  Said she is coming to serve me if I don't call them back - that I have serious charges pended (she said pended, not pending).  Then she told me to call the plaintiff at the 877 - 812- 5814 number, extension 358.  I'm glad I looked the number up!  I'm going to see what I have to do now to file formal charges against this group.

Allstate Ligiation is actually Allstate Processing, which is located in Chandler, AR.  They are also affiliated with LakeShore Management, a subsidiary of Allstate, went through the same, did my homework.

Allstate of Charlotte, North Carolina, they said I owe seven hundred to them to settle my debt. They automate take out $50 every week on me and then they said I need $100 starting in June for it. So it's all paid off in July. Is this real or scam?

Just received a called from these people and they are looking for my sister. How they got my # I wonder. They said that if she doesn't call within an hour she will be served with papers. I got a hold of my sister and told her not to call after I read all this in here as it looks like it's a scam.

called sister to say there was litigation pending against me. I called, they refused to give me any info about them, but were offering a settlement on an old phone bill that was paid 13 years ago.  If I didn't pay right away, they were taking me to court.  When she had no answers for all their violations of the fair debt collections act, I finally hung up.

Got a call saying they were pressing fraud charges for a Verizon bill.

I just received the same call just now.

Got a call today too for a Verizon bill -that was paid years and years ago.  Requested proof of debt and was told service of a lawsuit was imminent, so having that would not help since suit was filed already.  Also claimed to have sent a demand letter 45 days earlier - that went unanswered...

Received a phone call from these guys (Nation Private Search) and they were looking for someone with my same last name.  

After asking many questions about the purpose of call, whether they were a legal organization with bar certification on the state of which the "complaint" was filed and also the name of the company that they were dealing on behalf of and their state of incorporation the caller hung up.

Did they ask for social security number
