This number has called my husband's cell phone twice asking for his brother. This morning when they called they asked for him again and my husband told them he wasn't person they were wanting to speak with. He did tell the man that this was his brother, and he asked if he could get a message to him. I wrote down information and they even gave me a document number. I hope they call back; thanks to this forum we will be ready. Thanks everybody!!!

Keeps calling stating what everyone on here is saying.  Also added that if I'm not home he would have to turn over papers to the clerks office.  Well that's odd right there.  Before anyone is served papers the clerks office already entered the papers.  Once this is done then you are served.  This is fishy and mostly a scam.  I'll play along with the game tho.

They've cradled 3 several times and when i call back i get nothing

I got a call stating the EXACT same thing... what ever happened?

Got a call from 737-402-1310 stating Ima Warren (not me) would be served with papers on Jan. 22 between 3 -5 pm.  Gave number 877-819-5937 with a case number to reference.

Caller stated that I had an outstanding debt and that they were sending my paperwork to be file with the court and sent to a process server for me to be served. Caller called from 1-888-915-9878

Stated I was being served with court documents.

Scam! Real process servers don't call in advance.

Rothman Klein Mediations  called me on 1-512 634-8297. asking for some unknown person.  I cursed them in the foulest language I could think of but they keep calling back

Got the call, telling me they'll serve me papers around 5 pm, to get more info call 877 819 5937.  Legitimate Legal servers do not call beforehand.  I have no outstanding debt.  By the way, the "server"s spoofed number was an area code hundreds of miles away.

I received a call from a gentlemen who tried to present himself as a bully stating I needed to call him back at (888)915-9878 Rothman Klein however that pissed me off because he never stated a file number, the reason for his call or who filed a claim against me just he was taking me to court however he called me from (916) 330-3792 I had called back and gave him a peice of my mine with his rude ass!  I am glad I had looked up this under spam and BINGO here it is

I received a call from a local number advising they were a process server and would be serving papers at 5 pm today (6/10/20) in my mailbox due to COVID-19 and if I wanted to know more information to call 877-819-5937. This is such a crazy time for people to be contacting people like this.

These people are breaking the law, i took the fraudulent paperwork to my clerk of courts office and they said it continues to happen because some people do fall for it and think it's legit, they get scared and pay. I worked as a paralegal and knew straight away it was fake, but I could totally sew my grandma believing it. Just ridiculous.

What paperwork did you receive? What was the business name and address on it?

Keep called asking me to send them money or I'll be served. Don't know who they are the man was really rude.

Scam.. Process server called me to call this number with a reference number.  The process server said he had paperwork regarding a lawsuit against me but because of covid.. He couldn't meet me in person but wanted me to unlock my mailbox so he could put it in there.  Nobody ever showed up.  Called server and phone was not a working number.  It's a scare tactic from a scammer or bill collector.  Don't let them scare you.

I got a call from a guy named Mathew who said he was a process server for my local county and left the 877 number and a reference number to call to cancel. He said to have 2 forms of ID and to wear a mask when he comes to my house on Monday. He also offered to reschedule my serving of papers.Is that legit? I haven't called the 877 number yet. Last time this happened (different number) they had an old actual past due credit card info and I paid it, but they kept calling my job so I felt pressured.

A guy named Matthew called me saying he had papers to serve me at an address I haven't lived at in 12 years and I live in another state now. He didn't know that but I didnt answer and he left a message saying I was being sued and left a claim number to call Madison County 8778195937. I tried to call the number he called from 3092760259 it's not a working number so it's a scam! Next time he calls I will be cussing him out for trying to scam someone!
