- MidNYteStorm replies to PoeUnfortunately the DNCR does not apply to debt collectors. Even if it did, I wouldn't expect them to honor it anyway since many operate by their own rules. This is based on the calls that I received from debt collectors looking for people that I never heard of.
- Me tooReceived a call from a 973 area code asking me to call the 877 number above. I believe this is a company POSING as Dynamic Solutions debt collector. Will not call them back

- BettyI got a call from these people yesterday and today. I've been through this before and a warning to others, if a "debt collector" calls you from one number and asks you to return a call to another number, it's a scam. Don't be fooled. They can't sue you, don't even bother returning their calls.

- KMan left message saying he was from dynamic recovery solutions and to call them at 877-821-1658 about unpaid debt. A worrying difference is that he directly named a member of our household and we have an unlisted home phone number. I know we don't have any debt, my concern is about our family member's name being used - do you think this is identity theft as opposed to the "regular" mass scam calling? Thanks for any input.

- Anon E MouseSo I received an "attempt to collect a debt" letter about 2 weeks ago for a security system that I had installed in 2004 or 2005; due to breach of contract on the company's side I cancelled the service after 30 days. The letter is from Dynamic Recovery Solutions in Greenville, SC and the phone number on letter is 877-821-1659; received a call and voicemail today from a local number, identifying themselves as Dynamic Recovery Solutions, asking me to call them at 877-821-1658. I called the number from the letter, not the voicemail, and was told that the account went into collections in 2007 and again in 2009. I explained to the gentleman the circumstances of the debt, breach of contract on the company's part, the statute of limitations, and that I had no plans to pay this, ever. He politely, yes politely, told me that they can't do or report anything because of the statue of limitations and asked me if I was implying that I didn't want to be contacted by phone or mail by them again to which I confirmed he was correct. Very polite, just doing a job.

- Pr replies to Wilber| 5 repliesSo funny. Play with them like they do to us
- Heinz57 replies to Pr| 4 repliesBad idea-do not engage the scammers. Playing their game by their rules on their turf you'll never win. At the very least you'll get more calls. Or they could "swat" (look up swatting) you. They also could start using your number as a spoofed number when they scam call other people. *67 does not work on toll free numbers like 877 so they CAN SEE your number.
Also if you stoop to their level, what do that say about you? - Pr replies to Heinz57| 3 repliesI know what your response says about you. It means you work for these scammers
- Heinz57 replies to Pr| 1 replyI know better than to feed the trolls that show up here from time to time. Reading comprehension was never your highlight in 3rd grade-all 4 years you spent in 3rd grade.
Do us all a favor crawl back under your rock. - Tygerkat replies to PrHow do you figure that?
- Pr replies to Heinz57Wow! Someone's getting arrogant and testy for someone who does not work for them. All I did was give Wilber the high five for giving Dynamic wrong account information. I never asked for your opinions or advice nor did I state that i planned to do the same thing as Wilber. Now goodbye to you and good luck.
- M. JONESI have a voice mail message on my cell phone from this very same number...claiming to be from Dynamic Solutions, a debt collector.
