I received a call from a Mr. Williams from this number today too.  He said it was regarding a possible fraud case.  I don't know what he is talking about and he didn't leave any other info except for his extension.  Sounds fishy to me.

Vandenburg and Chase have been leaving messages on my phone for probably a year now. They call with a case number and are looking for someone with a name that doesn't even come close to mine. At first I was concerned that they were trying to reach someone for a legitimate court case or something but, after reading your messages, I can see this is a scam. The messages sounded very urgent and were from Mike Massenburg. Sounds like they prey on people who's information comes up on a credit alert or something. Total scam.

I got the same calls as well telling me i was going to jail and when i quoted the statute of limitations in my state the got angry and would not listen to reason. After readint this call log i decided to call ace and try to setlle they said they sold it to another company and i call them. They said they sold it to a company named nirvana... I called Nirvana and the answered the phone with vanderburg chase and ass.... So i got another name for the company... but with all the calls i found out that i could not pay anyone but them since my stuff was sold to them.. what do i do now???

I got a call from a lady name Cecilia saying the same thing. She said they would take payments,but they needed 250 first. She threatned me about going to jail and she just called and left message saying the paperwork was going out the door. She was giving me the heads up!. The number she is calling from is 404-682-9404

I have been receiving calls from Vandenberg and Chase [***] and yes first call was threatening about a defaulted loan. If I didn't pay he would put a warrant for my arrest. I sent him 100.00 then yet on 10/10/08 he called to my work and told a co-worker he needed to speak to me before he put a warrant for my arrest with the Tolleson Police. This all happened within a 3 week time frame. And the call to my co-worker was after I sent the money. The person I am dealing with is Mike Holmes. I did tell him not to threaten me and not to call me at work.

I have had these people call and threaten me with an arrest warrent. The people names are Cassie Mitchell and Anthony King under Vnaberg Chase and Associates . The number that they show up with is 404-682-9404. ext 3009 and 4040. I have filed complaints with my police department and FTC and BBB. This is not how to collect money.

Did he actually place an arrest warrant on you?

I received a call from this same company.  They left a message on my home voice mail (1-404-965-0007) and with the secretary on my job.  (Message said contact person is Mr. King 1-877-822-2677 X-3017)  When returning the call, it was mentioned that I owed a balance of $476.59 to ACE Loan Company and a warrant has been issued for my arrest. According to their records, the loan took place in 2004. When I asked for a copy of this check, he said they didn't have it, but they could give me the bank name.  Ironically, they mentioned my bank's name. I asked Mr. King to put his manager/supervisor on the line.  He was a little hesitant, but he transferred me to another extension where I was recited the same speech but the amount of the bad check had changed to $470.56.   I asked for a fax number so that my attorney could send them a letter and contact them.  She recited the number. She asked for my attorney's info, and I told her that he would give her all the information that she needs. I also told her that our conversation was being recorded and she immediately said, "You will continue getting these phone calls until this issue is resolved and immediately slammed the phone in my ear.

Thank God for Google. I was wondering what these people wanted. I'm in IRAQ and they called an old Pastor of mine from 6 years ago trying to reach me. What vermin does this kind of thing. I'm going to report them to my local police department.

I thought this sounded fishy, regarding a lawsuit in Milwaukee.  I am glad I read the other notes prior to calling them back.  I do not like when people are dishonest.

Received a msg on my machine from 877-822-2677 asking for a friend or next of kin of Larry somebody (don't know any) and could I call back if I know his whereabouts.  When I return home, I will block the number.  The other day a friend received a call from a different place looking for next of kin of someone.  They had something for him.  I am tired of this bottom feeders.  Get a real job, you POS.

got a menacing call left on my answering machine telling me that I need to call this number ext 3038.

Friends of ours called to relay a message from Mr. Darden at 877-822-2677.  Said that a warrant would be issued for my dad's arrest if he doesn't make arrangments to pay a debt to Check N' Go.  Dad didn't give any info.  I googled the phone number and found this sight.

Called for me, but when i returned the call (after checking here first, so I was fore-warned, God bless you all!), and after I gave them the case # the man said "Is this ____" and gave a name that matched my last name, but had a completely wrong first name (a name not even used for my gender).  I just said no that's not me, and he demanded my ph#, so I told him, I gave you the case # you must have the phone number there.  He became abusive and belligerent (I must stress that I was *very* polite and cool and not confrontational in manner), so I just hung up the phone.  Sure enough, he had the # there in front of him because he called me right back.
I think they must troll the local directories and call every # with the same name as the one they are actually looking for.
At any rate, both and I my roommate are blessedly debt-free, and have never bounced a check anywhere, so the call, even if meant for one of us, could not have been legit.

Mr King from Vanderburk, Chase and Associates, called to advise Charles of the scheduled court date for identity theft charges.  He questioned my daughter on the phone when he called.  The first names of my husband and I were not correct, but he stated that he had been tracking us from our former address to an address which we never resided, but our deceased so had rented (tip off to me) to our present address. He told her that if we knew Charles and Sindy with an S to call him back at 877-822-2677 ext 3013 or a warrant would be issued.  I was to site case number 290210 on return of the call. My daughter was concrned and then called me at work to tell me about the call.  I checked the numbers on caller ID and there was an Atlanta, GA area code listed but I don't remember the exact number now.  I know it is a scam and I pray

I got a call from this company today demanding that I make good TODAY on a payday loan from 2004!!! He said his name was John Andrews and they were investigating fraud perpetrated by me by writing a check to payday loan co.
He said a warrant would be issued for my arrest unless I could pay this back.  The nervy Ba***rd ask me for any credit card info I had and told me
to get back to him by 5:00pm.  He left a number 1-877-822-2677 ext. 3024
When I told him I would contact my attorney suddenly the line went dead.
Hmmmmmm strange how the mention of an attorney suddenly can end a call.

Just got a call from a Mr. King at Vandenburg, Chase & Associates at 877-822-2677, ext. 3019. He left a message on my machine saying that he was looking for a certain person that listed my husband as a relative and that he was looking for him in regards to a fraud case and left a case number on our machine.  I called him back and told him we have never heard of this person. I asked him where he got our names and phone number and he told me he got it from an asset search!

A Julia Davis called and left a message on my machine with a case number and that she was looking for someone with a similar last name.  She gave me 1-877-822-2677 ext 3029 and to call her back today.  She also said she would be there until 9:00 pm tonight.  I called back and gave the case number, she asked if I knew this person, I said no, she aksed if I was sure, I said yes, she hung up.  It sounded fishy so I googled the number.

Received a message on my answering machine today (3/23/09).  A woman named Camille Gregory said she has claim against me that "had fallen thru the cracks" and that I needed to contact her by 3:00 or she would have to contact her other office to see what to do with this claim.  Phone # given as 877-822-2677  Est 1002.
