DEbt Collector with threating phone calls

called my 78 mother told there was an arrest warrent out for me. Chicken [***], wisconsin state is looking into this

Got a call from a unknown number and a man named Mark Spencer. He said he was going to serve papers to me at my place of employment. He also called my husbands phone and left a message stating the same thing.

Received two calls for a Frederick Sanders, Said they were going to serve papers to him at his home and employment. Don't know who this guy is but have had this phone number for years.

My daughter got the same call from a female threating to serve papers didn't say what it is about but this is not her number. She doesn't even use the number

I have recieved several calls each day from this number.  I have no idea who they are trying to serve a "bench warrant" on.  These are the most annoying calls.  When I call the number back with the case number they identified, they claim the call does not come from them but a third party, however they stated my phone number would be removed from this list.

I received a call from these guys stating I had a debt with some company and they're taking me to court. I don't know if this is a joke or if its real but its annoying because I've never taken a loan from the company they claim

Received 2 messages in the last 2 days from this number, same scenerio that others are listing on post; claim filed against me, threats of visits to my home and place of employment, wanting my ss#, etc.  The lady talks so fast, can't hardly understand the message.  When I called the number, no identification of party, just a blank voice mail box.  Disconnected home answering machine.

Best thing to do if you receive or have received this call is to immediately contact the Federal Trade Commission at 877-382-4357, web address is www.fcc.gov  The organization placing these calls is a fraud.

I was also advised to obtain a copy of my credit report to make sure there are no false claims on there as well.

Recieved 2 phone messges just like the reports above.  Waiting to see wht happens.

Recvd a call from this number stating they had suit papers to deliver.  Now they do not answer, will report to FCC.  Total Scam

This company is a debt collection agency that went so far as to call my neighbor and tell them that they had a claim filed against me and they were going to see me over the weekend. They need to be stopped immediately.

same here but i truly hope they do show up. my yard is posted no tresspaaing viloators will be shot survivors will be prosecuted

get these calls for someone i dont know. at  the end of the call they say YOU HAVE BEEN NOTIFIED. so i called the number and left the message they had the wrong party and if the continued i would turn them in. and at the end i said YOU HAVE BEEN NOTIFIED.

say they had papers  for some one name karen  and the lady was mary brown

I kept getting calls from this number for a week, I of coarse ignored them. Only to end up getting a visit from some guy named Frank who served me with a summons to appear in court for an outstanding check I had from three years ago. When I tryed to call the company that was suing me they told me that it was to late to do anything about it and I just had to appear in court. Is this serious? my court date is in three weeks!

My call was due to a check that did not clear back in 2006 from an express check advance.  My concern is why didnt the company reach out to me at that time to resolve the issue?  Why wait 5 years to resolve a matter concerning a $170 check? I'm reaching out to my bank to see what's the deal here.  Any other thoughts?

We need to get some lawyers on these websites to comment and add their feedback.

So what happened? Because they are calling me about a check from 5 years ago! Said they are coming out to my work and home today.
