Got a phone call from this number stating it was Lisa with the State Proccessing service and said I had one hour to call them or the authorities would be coming out to my residence or work to serve me for check fraud. This was going to be my final notice and it would be a trial without my appearance.  I have been getting these sort of phone calls off and on for a month with different numbers attached to them.  Has anyone else been getting them.

This is an unlawful activity.  Read up on the FDCPA.  If you can identify these creeps get an attorney.  If they are in the US you can sue.  But they may be  payday loan scammers, in which case they are probably outside the U.S. ,.

I got a call from the same person with the same message. I called back and spoke to a "Sharon". She asked for my case number and then she asked me to verify the last 4 digits of my social. WTF? I told her she needed to give the social she was looking for so I could VERIFY if the called the right person. She said no, of course. Then I refused to give her any info and demanded she take my number off her list. Sharon then asked me to give her my phone number so she could match it up. Again WTF? They just called me with a case number and can't link the number? When I asked her why she said she had a list with 20 other people with my name. They don't know who they are looking for so they are harassing all these people with the same name. AND because I was being a [***] to her she refused to take my number off and accused me of lying to her and said I could be the person she is looking for. Then she threatened me with the authorities coming to my house. Really?

I'm getting the same call but refuse to call back.  I too am threatened with whoever is calling issuing a warrant for my arrest at my work place.  I have received other calls with different area codes/phone numbers with a simular message.
