SINCE YOU THINK YOU CAN YELL AT US, I CAN YELL BACK AT YOU. READING IS OBVIOUSLY NOT A REQUIREMENT TO BE A STUPID AND UNFEELING DEBT COLLECTOR. FOR YOUR INFORMATION, MORON, NOT EVERY PERSON ON HERE OWES DEBT. EVER STOP TO THINK THAT WHEN YOU ARE TOLD YOU HAVE THE WRONG NUMBER THAT YOU ACTUALLY DO HAVE A WRONG NUMBER? I AM VERY FAMIILIAR WITH THE FDCPA BECAUSE I HAVE SUED AND WON CASES AGAINST SEVERAL DEBT COLLECTION AGENCIES THAT WILL NOT TAKE WRONG NUMBER FOR AN ANSWER. SO WHY DON'T YOU GROW UP NUMNUTS AND GET A REAL JOB?

I just called Comcast and explained the repeated messages left from this number, always referencing a different name in each call -- none of whom are me or anyone I know. Completely bogus.

He suggested I used their free blocking service. If you have Comcast, give it a try:
    1. Wait for dial tone.
    2. Hit star-6-0.
    3. Press 1 to activate service.
    4. Press 2 to add number to "blocked" list.
    4. Enter phone number followed by pound sign (#).
    5. Press 6 to exit.

Hopefully, other phone companies are also offering this service.

My daughter (in another state) got a message with this number saying *I* was looking for (someone's name) and it was urgent and to call the number back. She did, they were looking for the person they said I was looking for. Some sort of a Collection Agency, US Credit?  Asked her if she knew the person (they said I was looking for) she said he's her sister's ex boyfriend. Asked if she knows where he is now? She said NO. Wouldn't say why they wanted to know. Looking up online it seems to be a collection for AT&T they used to call my house looking for the person and I told them where he now is. Don't know how they got my daughter's name and number! And the name they used for me is a nickname I use (online) that I wouldn't have on my phone account. I have an AT&T phone but it's on another daughter's family plan.  Do they get people's numbers from who they call with the AT&T cell phones? I hardly use mine, and don't know where how they'd have gotten my daughter's number (in another state) and my nickname. This is kind of scary, are they looking at phone records and calls?  They had called me about the person (they are looking for) because one time he used my address to get mail. They were calling me on my landline (which has nothing to do with AT&T) Same with the daughter they called today, they called on her landline phone she has through Comcast.
     Someone should look into this.

Well, they called and left a message for a Jose I have never heard of. They left a message to call this 877 857-9755 number if you are NOT Jose (Unintelligible last name). Well, I called and they said, give me a minute to remove your number. Then, they asked me for my phone number which I replied, "You should already have that info". No, they don't. I was assured that my number was removed from the system. We'll see if this requires follow-up with the FCC. I asked for the name of the company and they replied - EOS-CCA. I asked who they are trying to collect a debt for, and they replied EOS-CCA. This is obviouly a credit collection agency with bogus information. If anyone gets more than one call, report it to the FCC immediately.

Company answered their phone as EOCCA when I called --- the first person who answered asked for my name then put me on hold.  Another person picked up and asked for the account number which was provided to me in their original voice mail message. Put on hold again, third person picked up and asked for last two digits of my social.  It is a collection agency for an AT&T past due bill.

I received many calls looking for someone and said to call this number if I am not that person. When I called the number, this guy answered and asked what my phone number is, and then he said "OK... done", which I understood that no more calls will be received about this subject. I am keeping my fingers crossed as it was very annoying receiving these calls incessantly.

these people, NCO financial and EOCCA will hound you, use any means necessary, including skip traces from calls made on bills and reverse l hook up numbers to find the person they are looking for. If you had an ATT bill and never paid it, then it went to collection and these people pick up the write offs ATT make, they will hound you for years and years and years......They will start calling at 8am until 8pm at night.

Glad I found this site & will find out how to block this number from my phone.  I did have service with AT&T Wireless & we had a billing dispute.  OT, AT&T is horrible - do not use them.  We went round & round on this & I told them I was not going to pay it, so I guess these are the people they have sent after me.  I am still not paying it.

Also, thank you for their website info as they have not sent me anything in writing and I am going to get their address & head them off with a cease & desist letter.  AT&T can turn in my info to the credit bureaus, but not collection agencies - if you stop them.  I'm sure AT&T has done that already, but the amt is only $600 & I have a credit score of 770, so I'll take the hit.

    Collections Agencies suck!

This number called my ex boyfriends mother who has a unpublished landline asking for me. I haven't been with him in 8 years and no one has her number so how they got her is very weird. Tried to call back and didn't reach anyone. The recording said they were a bill collector.

This recorded message on 1-877-857-9755 is so annoying.  I do know the person they are calling and know the correct phone number of the person they are calling, but have no intention of helping them with ANY information.  If they would spend the time seeking the correct information as they have annoying me and others, their collection might be made.  I truly doubt that anyone owes them anything except a law suit..

Just received one of these annoying calls. It woke me up very early this morning. It was from a Carrie Smith. I know the person they are looking for. I am puzzled on how they would have gotten my number. It wouldn't have been on any of their records. Needless to say, they won't be getting any information from me. These comments have been helpful.

This is a collection agency. CCA. They called me once on a Saturday morning, and again a few hours ago. I decided to just call them and find out why they were calling me, as I have no idea why a debt collection company would be contacting me. There's an automated message that says that anything you say can be used in their debt collection process, WTF? So I waited for a representative, and then spoke with a woman named Amanda, told her that this number had called me twice and I wanted to know if it was in regards to any debt, because it sure as hell isn't mine. She apologized for the problem, and informed me that my telephone number had belonged to someone else, who had listed it as a contact number with them. That lady's name was attached to my number still. She removed my telephone number from their database. So hopefully no more calls from them.
