- Kris| 1 replyThey keep calling me on my personal cell number saying they're from Take Care Health. I never answer since my caller ID says Unknown. But they do leave their number in the voicemail. Finally I got tired of it and called the number back. Guess what?! On hold with crappy elevator music for too long so I hung up. Next time, I'm answering and telling them to take me off of their company's call list. Annoying as hell

- abc replies to Krisi got a call from same number, and turns out it's a company that runs the Take Care Clinics in Walgreens. i had an appt. there a few weeks ago and they needed to verify insurancei info. I took them to be legit b/c they read off my insurance to me, rather than asking me to supply it. only thing they had be supply was my mailing address, which i felt was ok.
- DudeIt is for the walgreens clinic. we had our flu shots there last weekend
- SarahI was skeptical at first, but it is from Take Care Health Clinic after they gave me a follow-up number due to my concerns of it being a scam. I called the provided number, and it was TCHC and gave me the accurate info after I provided my name & address.

- Older PersonTake Care Clinic did not take all necessary insurance information, i.e., Medicare that is primary. Medicare does not pay for certain services (e.g., Shingles vaccination), but the secondary insurance does. I received notice that the insurance claim to the secondary insurance was rejected. I received the information about the rejection via a telephone call allegedly from the billing department of Take Care Clinics that wanted my Medicare number to process the billing. Since it was Saturday, and the person on the phone told me that the billing office is not open on weekends after I refused to give the information, I was given a phone number to call to verify if the call was legitimate. I tried the number shortly after the call and a recording said the office was closed on weekends. On Monday, I called (after reading the comments above) and it was the Take Care Clinic billing department (in the Philippines) where apparently they take no incoming calls on the weekend, but do make outgoing calls. Poor information gathering at the clinic and poor information provision on the phone by the original caller.
- SCAMMED| 1 replyA free medical test was being offered and when I walked in, the nurse told me the only was the computer would accept my results was to do an add'l test for diabetes or something and would I be willing to take the test. I said sure, since I came in for the free promotion. They ended up billing me and I told then once, that if the only way to computerize the test was to perform add'l tests, that was their workaround I only agreed because the nurse told me the computer would not work with the free promotion and she checked with others after trying everything she knew. Bait and switch and LIES
- Mike| 1 replyThey called my cell phone (unrecognized #) and referenced a Take Care Clinic visit to Walgreens I had a few months ago. They had me confirm my DOB, but read back my address which was incorrect (but I didn't correct them, thinking it was a scam). They said I had an outstanding balance from that visit and that we could take care of it over the phone via credit card, or I could mail them a check. I laughed at them and hung up.

- LoriI received the same as Mike above except they did not ask for a credit card. They were told by my insurance that they could not find the member which is my husband, which our whole family is under. They wanted his account number. I would not give out the account # which is sensitive information. I asked for name and location and they did say they were take care clinic in the Philippines. I advised that they needed to correspond to me via mail. I then checked my files and I had received an EOB about 2 weeks after my visit. So they for sure had to have my information at some point. I then called the number I was provided for billing(and again got the Phillipines) and advised them that I had an EOB. The representative stated they did not. I advised that I had not received or paid a bill so I would advise my insurance to reissue them an EOB. If it is legit, which appears to be, Walgreens or Take Care clinic needs to look at theses practices. They really need to have an identifiable caller ID number one. Number 2, They seem to be unorganized . Number 2 and most important I don't believe they should outsource American jobs to the Phillipines. Because of this experience, I will not return to take care clinic.

- SueReceived a call from this number today, referencing a visit I made to a Walgreen's walk-in clinic last spring. Caller stated that my insurance company had denied the claim, and demanded payment via credit card for the delinquent balance. I told her THAT would never happen, to send me a bill. While talking with her (and she was extremely rude, asked me to stop talking at one point), I checked my insurance claims website, which had no record of a claim having ever been filed. The prescription was there, but not the visit. Followed up with the insurance company by telephone. Insurer called the number and was told I had "provided incorrect insurance" info (Walgreen's photocopied my card, and apparently had no issues with the prescription claim, so...). Insurer directed them to refile the claim, but advised if they failed to do so within 6 months of date of service, they would not receive payment from insurer, and I am not liable for the balance either, per their provider contract. We'll see how that turns out...

- mmonsterThey call to check up on you as well after an appt... to see if you are doing better.... and if you need anything else.
They are actually a great system... one of the few doc in boxes that does a great job. At least in our area they do.- Caller: take care health clinics
- Very Careful Older PersonReceived a call from them, not identifying themselves properly or stating what they wanted. I have ordered things from Walgreen's online; but I have never even visited one of their stores, let alone had any dealings with their clinics. I can only assume it's a telemarketing deal to try to get me to use their clinic. I will not be calling them back, and if they call again, I'll block their number. Thanks for the info, people.

- DO NOT USE "Take Care Health Clinic"| 1 replyThe phone number is from the Philippines' and has been contracted by Walgreens to act as there "Collection Agent". So I would advise anyone considering using or if they are or have ever use the Walgreens "Take Care Clinics" to STOP using them until they see that the out-sourcing is creating a mass movement to stop using them. I have been telling all my coworkers & friends about the bad things that have recently happened to our family! Again PLEASE stop using & go to an Urgent Care Unit run by a local Hospital - Please for you health care and the risk of you credit information being stolen by some foreign national in another country. What happened to the USA?
- Caller: Foreign Company - Philippines

- Check them out on BBBClick on this and you will see just what (DO NOT USE "Take Care Health Clinic") said about the out-sourcing is being done and run by Walgreens is all about!

Wow - mind blowing because only 1 out of 1,000 ever formally complains about anything - That being said means 14,000 unsatisfied clients since they decided to outsource to a foreign company!!!- Caller: Walgreens
- JasonYep, just got harrassed by this number. Stated I had a 28 dollar unpaid bill in which I had the credit card receipt that I had paid it. Once I informed them of this, they suddenly found it and said they would be sending it to accounts paid. 20 minutes out of my day that I cannot get back. Lesson learned. I will NOT be going back to Walgreen clinics and try to avoid the stores for that manner.

- Erin| 1 replyCalled my phone but left no voicemail. I can substantiate that I did take my son to Walgreens on a Sunday two weeks ago to be looked at by their on staff nurse because he came home from a weekend at grandma's with pink eye. They took my insurance info but charges me nothing for the visit except for his prescription eye drops...so someone is probably trying to collect my co-pay now after the fact...even though I advised them that there was supposed to be a co-pay at the time of the visit.
Yay one more follow up thing to deal with.- Caller: Take care health
- Debt Collection Scam| 1 replyI just received a call from 1-877-865-9011 - I went into the settings for my cell phone and blocked the display for the outgoing phone call & than I called that number back after looking it up on Google. A woman answered the phone, & you could clearly hear other people talking in the background. She apologized and than asked for my first and last name. I asked who she was with and she told me Walgreens - Billings and Payments. She asked if I had ever been to a Walgreens. I said yes I have, but when I went I didn't have insurance and the bill was paid for in full, I said I even have the credit card statement that proves that. She than tries to tell me that they were calling to submit an insurance claim. I said that's interesting - I Googled your number before I called and it lists your # as a Scam, it also lists your # as Harassment. She asked me Sir, where did you see these things, Google? You said. Yeah I said; and I read them off to her. She, then tells me. Well in order to clear this up & make sure you don't owe anything, if I could just verify your information. I told her "nice try" I already told you that when I came into the clinic, that I didn't have insurance, furthermore I told you that the service I had was paid in full and I have a Credit Card statement to prove that - this is a Scam. You don't need to try to file a claim for coverage through an insurance company - i didn't have one at the time of service! I hung up after I told her that. THIS IS A SCAM - Be Careful - Just because someone sounds legit - does not mean that they are. Just because they know your First and Last name, does not prove anything. This could also be used for Identity Theft!

- I forgot to add replies to Debt Collection ScamI wrote the message above and forgot to add, that on the initial call from 1-877-865-9011 They asked is this "First Name Last Name" and it was my actual name, but when I asked - "Sorry, May I ask who is calling please?" They didn't say anything and then hung up! That is when I looked up the info on Google - Blocked my # and called them back. SCAM...
- Todd DIt is billing for Take Care Health, located in Walgreen's. Irritating, but not a scam. Just trying to collect their co-pay.

- maybe a scamjust got a call on my cell from this number and it told me to hold for a representative. After elevator music it said that a rep. could not be reached and to call back at another time. Then it gave their office hours. It never said a company name or gave any information. I thought it was very odd.
