Left threatening message

Called family member said there was a court supena for me. Needed me to contact them so paperwork could be delivered. Called court directly, there is NOTHING for me. No supena or even any records, complaints, etc. So this is either a scam or old debt collector. Sad thing is, with all my bills all my debtors know my address and phone number.....

Called my mother threating to throw her in jail because she would not tell them n e thing about me.

Refused to give me Settlement on my debt. Usually they can give lower amounts to pay of debts. They refused to work with me.

Same thing! Called my ex from 7 years ago! Said I have a bench warrant out. He freaked.  Wouldn't give me a name. Very mean.

Guy said he was an officer of the county court - not even my county.  Threatened me with a warrant.  They are in violation of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act - look it up!  They bought your debt from someone.  You do NOT owe THEM a penney!

we got the same call. what court house do I call. my husband has livied in 3 diffrent states since then.

Same thing just happened to me! They wouldn't tell me what it was for. They won't give me a name or anything. They said it was for a U.S Bank and the funny thing is, I never had an account with them. I am on the phone with them now and they finally told me who they are, it's AMG Associates. This is a very scary situation.

They went to my work to serve me papers, and my manager called me. They are going back there before 7 to give her the papers. But, I don't see how they can do that since she IS NOT me. They demanded money from me. Or said they would garnish my wages if they took me to court. I looked up AMG & Associates and their site is out in California and is a construction management. So, I don't see how they can take me to court and act like a bill collector. I think it is a scam. They can't even tell me what it is for or anything. If I have to I will get rude back.

Debt never goes away, you legally owe it until its out of stats.you shouldn't borrow money you cant pay back, its scum like you that ruin our economy.

Same company called me     They used a spoof caller Id making it look like the court house was calling me. Left a message to have me call them back or my attorney     I called them and they told
me about a debit over 6 years old    Told me that the police were on their way to server me papers. They wanted me to give them my cc card number to settle debit  I hung up on them   Look them up online and found that they are doing this to many others.

So yea I also got a call from a guy in the morning,he said he was look for so an so name, I. Said u have the wrong person , also said he was an attorney that their was a lawsutt on this person, so I ask my dad if he owed anything dad said no,so I called back from another #,an said oh hey I think ii have debt I wanna pay it, this is how I wound out that thay wornt attorneys ther crooks, so people do wat I do save all the phone # thay call u from on your cell phone and make a name for them,(like the name I save them is is [***] [***] COLECTORS)lol peace out,

it's an attempt to collect a debt. Just a Bill Collector. I worked fo one I know. LOL

This is a scam!!!!!!!!! My family works for the sheriff's dept. This number called me and told me that the deputy was coming to serve me papers and a lawsuit was against me. They would take my house. I called my family at the sheriff's office and no such thing exists. This number is a scam to get your cc numbers. DO NOT GIVE IT TO THEM.

I see they've been calling you too. Or do you just search random phone numbers on the internet? Pathetic...

I once had a debt collector hang up on me when I asked him to send me the info so I know who to send it to. He said he was just going to mark it as refusal to pay and hung up on me what jerk. Really made me angry it was like he just called to yell at me he didn't even want the money.

I GOT A CALL FROM THIS # ABOUT A MONTH AGO FROM A JOSEPH GONSALEZ SAYING THERE WAS A LAWSUIT AGAINST ME AND MY EMPLOYMENT WAS ALREADY VERIFIED! IT WAS FOR A JEWELRY ACCT I HAD ABOUT A YEAR AGO. I WAS JUST INFORMED BY MY EMPLOYER THAT I AM GOING TO BE GARNISHED!

"She" is trying to convince you that the company is "legitimate", the "debt" is real, and that they are "suing" and will "garnish your wages", embarassing you at work.
