Repeated calls.  No way to find out who the caller is.

i have also received numerous phone calls requesting me to push a number to confirm for the loan or press 9 to deny the loan or further phone calls. neither option works. it is a scam. be careful we were just victims of identity theft in a similar situation but from another company.

Same thing...unrequested automated loan approval. I'm getting them several times a week.  They ask you to call back at 877-890-1291 if you no longer want to receive their calls.  I'm on the National Do Not Call Registry and never wanted to receive their calls.  They are very annoying.

I received a call from 877-890-1291 just about everyday for the last 3 weeks. Saying that I am approved for a $10,000 loan. They want bank information and your social sercurity number which is a BIIG NO NO!! This is an automated system and you can type in all "1's" and it will still say your approved and you will receive info in the mail. I did leave my name an address for them to mail me! We will see what happens.

Has nothing to do with your internet phone service. I got the same calls and I didn't have internet phone service. I guess the do not call registry is a joke. I am constantly being hounded with telemarketers these days.

I received an automated call on Friday, May 30, 2008 @ 08:06 am....very suprised have not applied for any loans....offering a secured $ 10,0000 loan....one thing I will say is at least they provided this website....more than any of the other automated calls...loved the reply that SNAPBEAN - posted about call on 15 May 2008.... thank you for having this way to warn others...thank goodness for this website...now I know others are being bothered by it also.

There is enough stress!! We do not need more from these people that has nothing better to do than to set on their [***] and harass!

Just had 1-877-890-1291 show up on my cell, which is definitely on the DO NOT CALL list because I just renewed in March after I heard on NPR that millions of Americans were again becoming prey to these criminals due to a 3 year expiration of filings with the DNC list.  If I understand correctly, that is about to be changed and the list will be permanent moving forward.  Regardless, these folks have no ground to stand on and I'm not taking it sitting down.  I filed with the FCC, FTC and put in a DNC List violation.  God help you if you pressed 1...call each of the 3 main credit agencies and get a lock on your credit report NOW and file with the appropriate authorities.  These folks are CRIMINALS filing bogus loan applications in your name which show up on your credit report!!

They called, it was a recording about a loan that I never took out!

I got the same call on my work phone (spam) and even though I do have a bank account, once I pushed "2" for no bank account, the calls ceased.  I get they realize that they are not going to hack my account for any reason.  Maybe this may work for others being harrassed by these thieves.

I get calls from this number: 877-890-1291 and several other "unknown" and told them that the person that they are looking for (I have had this number since November of last year). Last week, the same number called me 9 times within 20 minutes.

Called my home and cell, BOTH are on Do Not Call.

Too bad the 10K isn't free :P

called about approval for secured loan same as all the other posts.  got my first call today and immediately hi 9 to take me off the list.  I then thought that i should call back and see if it routes to one of my establised banking instititions and really listened to the message.  I immediately thought this is a scam and hung up without putting in any info.  I am on do not calls and it is my cell phone.

I have been getting these phone calls on my cell phone. My cell phone is on the do not call list!!!! They said that I was approved for a $1500.00 loan. I pressed opt.1 and they wanted my bank acc.# and my ss#. I gave them a fake # like 222-222-2222 and they hung up on me. Almost like they knew it was fake. I pressed opt.9 to be taken off the list they called me @ like 1:30AM.

It calls on my cell ,I don't know who it is, so I don't answer it.
