Harassing repeated calls with no message left!!!

2 calls. no msg. i didn't bother to answer.

tj maxx rewards card

Yes. Two calls also, no message. I did sign up for the TJ Maxx card over the holidays so this makes sense. Ugh, why do they think we want telemarketers calling us!?

I'm guessing it's telemarketing and I'm on the no-call list.

I just got a call from this number and they DID leave a voice mail.  If you signed up for a TJ Maxx card and did not call to activate it they call you.  It sounds like they are just trying to verify you did in fact receive the card.

No message

I just checked the number and it is the toll number listed for TJ Maxx.  Ditto what Amy said but they DID NOT leave me a voice mail - they just keep calling.

no message   Recalling the #,    it wants me to activate my TJ X or maybe TJ Maxx credit card...I never applied for one, don't own one, never received one and I am afraid someone opened one in ID theft   There is no operator and says to contact customer service at the number on the back of my card for other issues??

told them at the store that I didn't want the card due to unbelievably POOR service at check-out counter.  They processed it anyway (another source of frustration, in spite of a lengthy complaint to TJMaxx which was never even acknowledged,)
I'll be reporting them to all three credit reporting bureaus.  I'm no longer even visiting TJMaxx.

I received call to activate rewards card------no customer service number left to call.
I do not have or plan on having TJX rewards card or credit card. I do not shop at TJMaxx.

I'll be be reporting this to credit reporting bureau and BBB.

Was contacted to activate a credit card.Never applied for this card

Got a call from this number to activate my TJMax mastercard which I did NOT apply for.

I did apply for the card and have not activated it yet. Once I activate it, I'll see if I still get the calls.

On 8/23/14, @ 3:18 PM, I received a call fro 877-890-3160. When I get no message, I often call to see who has called me. I DID get a recorded message that said:

"Thank you for calling the Activation Line for your TJX Rewards Platinum Master Card Account. If you are calling for any other reason than to activate your account, please call the customer service number on the back of your card or billing statement. (Then Spanish message.)...   For quality assurance, during the entire duration of your call, this call may be monitored and/or recorded. Please enter your account number as it appears on the front of your credit card... [   I'm sorry, we are unable to recognize your input. Please re-enter your account # as it appears on the front of your credit card. [DID NOT DO ANYTHING... I am not stupid!]

I'm sorry, we were unable to recognize your input. Let's try one more time. Please re-enter your account number as it appears on the front of your credit card. [DID NOT DO ANYTHING, again!]

We are unable to recognize your input. We need your full account number from your credit card.    Please call back with that information. [CLEARLY, DID NOT DO THIS!]

Should you need any further assistance,  please dial the customer service number located on the back of your credit card or billing statement. Thank you. Goodbye."

I HAVE NO CARD WITH THEM... Unless it is a company, such as Sam's Club which changed from Discover to MASTER CARD, gratefully.

In my opinion this is "fishing" for STEALING YOUR CREDIT CARD NUMBER. The posts that I read before doing this were SO different & varied. I have NO doubt that this is a serious 'SCAMMER".

PLEASE OTHERS REPORT TO FCC & "TJ" (MAX???) NOT SURE THAT IS WHAT THEY ARE SAYING. PLEASE PASS THIS ON! PLEASE PASS THIS ON! REPORT TO ALL AGENCIES THAT YOU CAN!

I WILL BE CALLING MASTER CARD ON MONDAY TO REPORT &/or send them the info here. Probably BOTH!

I hope that all of you who are posting or have received calls from this number care enough to report. If we do nothing, NOTHING HAPPENS. It still may not, but at least we are trying & can report. I have done this before to FCC.
