They call my parents home which I have not lived with in quite some time.  I have spoken with this company on a regular basis and even arranged payments (which have been going fine).  Still they continue to call my parents house even though I have given them my phone number numerous times.

you can also contact the attorney general for your state and file complaint against any company that is harrasing you or calling after hours.  this is something that should be done the more people who contribute to this the better chance we have as consumers to fight back against illegal harrasment.

So they called me tonight My boyfriend answered and they said they were "Andrew Credit" and i needed to call them back on the number on the caller ID....i just redialed it and they are closed yet it say Van Ru company...

how do they get our names and numbers?

Getting calls from these people asking for someone other than us. We don't give them any information and yet they keep calling.

got a call from 877-891-8155, message for myu son whom does not live with me.  Stating if "if you are not ________don't listen to this message. Hit option 2, if you don't must be him. This is a attempt to collect a debt.

This is VanRu and they are attempting to collect a debt from Visa and probably other debts that companies ask them to collect on.

I asked them to send me the information in writing and then the person was rude when I requested that.

George: You must work for these people. You seem to know how to write, perhaps you should learn to speak english so you can be understood. Also, if you work for these people, you should be familiar with laws pertaining to collection. In the 4 months since first contact you have never sent a copy of what you are trying to collect for. Just from the number of calls, your penalties far exceed anything anyone but the very rich would ever have on a card.

These people have a rap sheet a mile long.

I have received several calls from this number and either don't answer or answer and get a message.  This last time it was actually a person on the other end and was asking for April.  Told them that she no longer had this number and they asked if I knew her number and I told them that I did not know who she was.  So hopefully they will stop calling me.
