Hate to say it but I am behind on my WF Credit Card, so I know it is WF Card Services with possible options

I received a letter from JP Morgan with saying that I had an account that I had not used in 2 years and that my response was required to collect the balance. After calling the number listed to no avail, I contacted the bank itself. There was no existing number at Chase or at JP Morgan.

Caller was looking for a person I'd never heard of. The callers name was Terinda or something line that. Said she was from Wells Fargo and to call back to go over card options. Pass. Sad to think there are so many people that think people will fall for the scam and even sadder that so many people actually do fall for it.

This number calls me constantly & the voice mails they’ve left me refers to “cycle card services” & I have never even heard of them.

I don't have a Wells Fargo account so how can this call be legitimate? 🖕🏽

First of wells fargo never asks for your social security over the phone.  These people do ask for that so ex employee you are wrong on that!

I got a call from the same number, they did not leave a message.  I called back and before someone answered the phone, there was a recorded message playing that this was an attempt to collect a debt.  I knew that there was something fishy about it.  So when the girl pick the phone and said she was from wells fargo I told her that I do not owe a penny to wells fargo and why did they call me not leaving a message.  She then asked either for my social security or account number which I refused to give and told her that I would go to the branch.  She insisted that they will call them any ways and she wanted to provide me a number to call. I refused and told her I do not need to talk to her and I will have my branch take a look at it and explain what is going on.  Do not provide your personal information to anyone on the phone or online.  Go to the branch or call the numbers that you already have before becoming a victim of crimes such as this.

You may be one of the individuals who is operating this scam.  People are saying that they do not have an account with wellsfargo and you insist that they owe money and that is why they are being called?

Why are you replying to a post that was clearly made in 2010.  Expecting that person to stop back after 9 years?

Hmmm...  Not sure that is accurate.  I keep getting calls from this number, they never leave a message.  I have never had an account with Wells Fargo, and currently have no other debt that a home loan which is very up to date.  My guess is fraud or telemarketing.  I blocked the number so it wouldn't bother me.  Just a note.  I also get calls from a bunch of other numbers.  I don't answer calls I don't know if possible.  If they leave a number, I can return it.
Also, when I have had a number from a legit company that I work with, they leave a number and also don't ask for personal information.
All in all, I encouraged proceeding with caution.

They call CONSTANTLY, leaving not one message behind 🤣
