- MildredApparently, they claim to be from North Dakota, though have Jamaican accents. Oh, and according to Mildred, she was born in the U.S. So, a new dialect of English must be developing in North Dakota, one which is spoken with Jamaican accents. I did not apply for a loan with these criminals and suspect that once again, my personal information has been breached. Never, ever, ever take out an online loan. No matter how desperate your situation. Giving these criminals access to your banking information is like inviting them in to scam you over and over again.
- Liam C.I checked out their website and they said I was approved for $600. After a long telephone conversation the sales rep asked for my username and password to my bank account so she could log in and look at my account information. I told her no way and said I wasn't interested anymore and wanted my information deleted. She got real pushy and for 10 minutes straight tried to get me to change my mind and go through with the loan, I ended up hanging up after I said I was NOT INTERESTED and to delete all of the info I gave them. She then called my cell phone, work phone, and home phone at least 30 times over 3 hours, as late as 10pm. I had to report the telephone calls to the FCC for illegal telemarketing practices. The next day I had unauthorized charges on my checking account. I had to contact my bank's fraud dept. and file fraud charges. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY! They are a total scam and will try to steal money from you and give your information to third parties. I have an open police report and complaints with the FCC and BBB. Save yourself a bunch of stress and find a legitimate company to deal with.

- mike| 1 replyEven though i need a loan , i will never do business with this company. Apparently they think that because they are an Indian tribe that they can get away with anything. I am on the (do not call list) but they call me multiple times a day, and send me too many emails. i have never submitted an application with them but they state that i did. A lie. They have horrible reviews. Harassing people constantly at work and at home. Why would i want to do business with a company that gets away with anything they want to !

- BigA replies to mikeThose so called "loans" are illegal to begin with. Applying for a loan on the internet is extremely dangerous and you stand a 100% chance that any information you enter will be used illegally.

- angieCame to work this morning with 3 voicemail from this number and message to contact them 'regarding my online submission'. I did call them back. Talked with a Pamela and told her I did not submit diddly-squat. She said 'well they only call when there's a submission to follow-up on'. Keep in mind they called me at my work #. Then she said, well maybe someone from my family submitted an application for a loan. I totally debunked that line. Told her to remove everything they have on me from their database, as I will be reporting this as fraudulent, as I did not request/submit for a loan.

- Tracy| 2 repliesThis number continues to call me I already know that they are a payday loan company called Maxlend but now they’re calling and saying there a completely different company somebody stole my identity and took out to pay day loans my bank didn’t catch it neither did I and I had made two payments and now they’re trying to hold me liable the companies a frightened and if you live in New Jersey pay day loans are illegal as well as in most states it’s illegal to charge more than 30% interest I found that they were charging 497%. They are definitely fraudulent and if you receive any information from them report them immediately. In fact they had my bank convinced that I took out the loan and my bank try to hold me liable needless to say I no longer bank with them

- MikeHuntleton replies to TracyThere are measures to take when Identity theft occurs. You can recover by filing reports and putting a fraud alert on your name to prevent further damages until you can sort it out.
Steps to take if Identity Theft is suspected:
1. Put a fraud alert on your credit reports by contacting one of these credit reporting agencies (Experian, Equifax, or TransUnion).
– Experian: https://www.experian.com/freeze/center.html
– Equifax: https://www.freeze.equifax.com/Freeze/jsp/SFF_PersonalIDInfo.jsp
– TransUnion: https://freeze.transunion.com/sf/securityFreeze/landingPage.jsp
2. Contact any institution directly affected Bank or Store that issued the credit or debit.
3. Contact the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) File an Identity Theft Affidavit and a police report and create an Identity Theft Report.
4. File a police report. To complete the Identity Theft Report, you’ll need to contact your local law enforcement office and report the theft.
5. Protect your Social Security number If your social security number was or may have been compromised, contact the Social Security Administration (800-269-0271) and the Internal Revenue Service (800-829-0433).
For more information about how to prevent or recover from identity theft, the U.S. Department of Justice and the Federal Trade Commission offer a wealth of information and will walk you through the steps.
