My mother , whom is in stage 4 cancer started receiving calls in which this number asked for me ? what the bloody heck????? ive never ask for nor applied for any type of payday or quick loan. so im curious how they got their information about me through my mothers cell number that is an out of state cell number! I believe i will call them back to ensure that im not being scammed or having identity theft done to me Again. I had to goto Jail for 7 days because someone stole my information and wrote a check to a payday loan company....when that check came back as a fraudulent account number.....who do you think they came after.....not the Crook but me...this is how serious things can get. after a few weeks and over 1200.00 in legal fees OF COURSE I was proven innocent but look what it cost!     So as Stated in above comments....if you are getting these calls make sure someone hasn't hacked your info and are trying to get a loan in your name....Verify its just a telemarketing call verses a verification call.....if a telemarketing call just say, No thanks and remove you from their call list immediately and get a name and a employee number for your own records.....Be safe Everyone its time we citizens stand up and say enough with the BS.

After reading these comments, I called the number back.  I had recently applied for a short term loan and Maxlend was one of the company names that came up in my feed at that time.  I told the lady I was no longer interested and to please stop me calling me since I am calls daily, usually multiple times a day.  Yes, she did ask for last four of SS# but I had already applied so they already had it.  When. I asked to no longer be contacted she said "no problem but just so you know you've been approved for $1400" and then explained to call back if I change my mind because they have "good deals on pay back options and not prepayment penalty.". She was actually pretty nice although I wish when I said please stop contacting she would have just said "ok" and not tried to still "sell" me the loan.  Let's see if this stops the calls.

I get calls from these people constantly from multiple numbers. My voicemail was full because of all of the multiple calls daily. I called the number to play their little game and reached an automated system that sounded pretty legit until it got stuck in a loop when it asked me to enter my account number and zip code, I entered bogus info. I didn’t get the opportunity to speak with anyone to see if they could possibly remove my number from their calling list. This is the worst experience I’ve had with a scam artist ever!

Just like others above, received 12 calls in one day from this number. HOWEVER, after reading a few posts I decided to call them back. I'm glad I did. They were trying to verify that I applied for a loan because I have a fraud alert on my credit bureau reports. I was a victim of identity theft last year. The agent was very concerned and immediately cancelled the loan request and forwarded the issue to their "fraud" department to follow up. I am grateful for their honesty and concern.

Called five times in a single day, the last one at 8:45 PM my local time, which I answered. They said hello five times after I had said hello. Asked why they were calling at such a late hour, said it was personal business. No company I know of calls after 5:00 PM local due to the credit act rules on calls. Told the person to remove my number or it would be reported to the FTC.

    "credit act rules"?
Debt collectors are typically allowed to call between 8:00 a.m. & 9:00 p.m.

You clearly have never read the "credit act rules" since there is no such law, rule or regulation.  It was already pointed out to you that Federal Law which governs calls from 3rd party debt collectors allows calls from 8 am to 9 pm your time.  Now, if you know of a different law, rule, or regulation that everyone should know about please give us a reliable, verifiable citation.

Received a call from 877-936-4336 around 7:00 pm.  They left a voicemail message from someone named Iris (? I think) but couldn't really understand her because she did not speak very clearly, kind of mumbled.  Annoying.  Couldn't tell if she said the call was some sort of promotional thing.  Who knows and who cares.  Scam call.

Called multiple times a day but never left a message. When I spoke to someone they stated I applied for a loan in the last 2 months which I never have. Lady became pushy and slightly rude so I hung up and blocked her call.
