Picked it up, but no answer.

Didn't pick up since the number looked suspicious, but they left a message. The call was from a company called Dermstore calling about a product that was on my account as an auto-refill.

I got the call and it said to go ATM700.com

Got the same call on my cell about 4:22pm pdt on my cell phone. The message said it was coming from California in regards to a post I supposedly made and said to go to atm700.com.

same here he claime that he is doctor and want to speak to me... i refused to answer the call..he hang up without any messages............

I answered on 1st ring. No one there.  
888 is not a real area code.
Many calls from "no number listed" also.  They found a way around the "no call list" by calling with a non existing number.  They can't be blocked either with blocking services.

# is a spoof because none start with "1" - most likely an international fraud ring

Calls early in the morning.  Leaves a silent message.  Says 'good bye' at the end of silent message.  Has called more than 5 times...the latest one was today.

Received 3 calls this morning -- my caller id shows 123-8888 (no area code). They arrived at 7.05 , 7.15 and 7.23. I did not answer the first 2, but did call back. Nothing, not even a phone ringing. 3rd call, I answered.
