I just got the same call for my husband this is a scam they do not call people to serve papers the cops do that.  Do not give anyone your info if you dont get anything in the mail then it is not right

Owing money or bad debt is not a crime nor can you be arrested.Don't fall for it and never call them back!

Eric James and everything else is the same. They buy up old or non exixtent debts and try to embezzle/blackmail money out of people. I had one idiot call me from a traceable number and threaten my children and I told him I knew where he was calling from and I was on my way to drag him across his desk and [***] slap him till his eyes bleed for threatening my children. He hung up. I went to the building they were in, no one seemed to know him. They never called again. Punks.

I was glad to see your post since this whole thing makes me nervous. I just got my 2nd msg from them. Same exact msg as the one I got on 8/16. I had tried to call the number then they left and only got music and a beep to leave a msg. I did that twice and have yet to get a call back re: the msgs I left. There has to be a way to stop things like this.

I just got my 2nd call. Same name, Eric James, exact same msg. Same number to call the plantiff if I have questions. I haven't gotten a call back yet from the msgs that I left for the "plantiff"(who ever they are) last week.

They also have another number 678-619-0915. I called today they said we went to LISD to serve you well I have not been there in over 5 yrs and they tried to tell me about a bank that I have never used. I told them to take a flying leap they said the same thing about pay day loan.  I have a whistle and just blow in there ear

i got a call from this place and they told me that i owe $1200 and that they will settle for $609 and i told them that i will call back today and pay it. well today i called with a payment and the payment went from $609 to $1218 and if i dont pay the sheriff will be at my job. so i told them fine i will be there waiting with my lawyer. she got nasty and hung up.

My brother in law got the same call and it was about a payday loan the first call they stated they wanted $610.  The next day they called him back say $1218. By 2 pm or the cops will see him at his job to arrest him.. the company name was Roman and miller and the supervisor name was patty Allen. They would not give up any information on the loan just money and told us they couldn't give us a receipt of payment not even a email showing proof u owe the money...   If the company is real they will email u everything before u make the payment so please don't give this company any money its a big scam..

Wow this is crazy! I work for a company with a similar phone number to the Eric James scam - we get like 10 calls a day for people returning his call. They must be giving out our number by accident. From what we have Googled, this is a scam. Don't call this number back, I wouldn't waste your time. But you can call us and book a photography session lol :)

calling at work with a pre-recorded message acting as if they have "papers" to serve me.  No information other than that.

Well, I have received 6 calls from this "company."  I called them back after the 4th time and now after the 6th time.  Talked to someone who swore at me and her name was supposedly "Mrs. Roberts"

Yesterday, I posted here stating that I received these same calls form this Eric James. I called the number back and I spoke to a woman by the name of Patti Allen, let me tell u what a nasty freakin [***], she is she would not give me any info on this payday loan and has for this Eric James supposedly he is some type of a officer that works in the feild. I tried telling her that if u keep calling my number or my job I'm filing harassment charges against you and she told me to go [***] myself and that the police won't do anythin.bout it. She called my sister in-law a [***] because she tried to help me out. I talked to a prosecutor and he told me that what this person is doing is illegal and that if these phone calls persist to go to your local PD and file harassment charges against her.

Just received a phone recording with all 0's.  called the number back and the woman threatened to fax papers to my job.  Said I owed Bank One 1,609.00  when I asked for documents of proof she said if i pay the money she would stay on the phone and THEN email papers.  Come on, that would be very stupid to pay up front.  Anyway, she is very rude and so I told her when the guy comes to serve me papers I will look at them then....of course she hung up the phone.

Same exact thing has been happening to me. The 0# Eric James. Call the 888-200-9171 no one answers. I have been dealing with this for a month. Calls at work and cell phone. Calling General attorney. Grrrrrrr

I had cleared fro Chapter 7 filing and discarged almost 3 years. I told her about it and he told  me I dont have this information here you have to pay the amount now.
Who is the right person to talk to solve this harrasment?

Continues to call family members telling them that if they do not assist them in a criminal investigation they will be charged with witholding evidence.  Claims to be Eric James! And that I also left my relatives number as a contact number.
